"Y/N, over here."
The loud voice echoes through the tunnel. With only your flashlight, in the dark tunnel, you can see its the police captain motioning for you to join him, and a group of men. Your light reflects off of the smashes windshield of the car, and your carful not to step on any evidence. Making your way closer you can see out the faces of the men more clearly. One is young, dark brown facial hair matching is large deep eyes. No wrinkles except by his mouth which is drawn into a frown. The other is a shorter, older man. His gray hair is draw straight back and gelled in place. His face holds many dark spots and wrinkles, and his eyes are hidden by sunglasses,. Despite the darkness of the tunnel. Based on their neat suits, large jewels, and saddened looks you can tell they are the family of the victim.
"Tell me what you've got." The captain demands nervously.
The men create a serious, and superior feel.
"Well based on the evidence it was a plotted murder. An exposition from a hidden bomb placed in the car. Our victim is 29 year old Lauren Torricelli." You stumble on pronouncing her last name.
"Torricelli." The tall man, in the black suit replaces in a harsh tone. " our last name is Torricelli."
You quickly realize that this is the husband of the victim. You look up to his large brown eyes. For just losing his wife, he doesn't hold much sadness, but more passion in them. You get lost in his gaze and find it hard to look away. But the silent stare is broken when the older man in gray next to him clears his throat.
"Very well them, a simple murder. I told you Massimo they would be of no help to us." He mumbles, turning for the large black vehicle parked at the end of the tunnel. "Come now, our driver is waiting."
The man you now know as Massimo hands you a small black card. His soft hand grabs your for a moment and his strong grip surprises you.
"Call me, I would like to discus the finer details of my wife's death." He has a strong tone, and despite your reluctance to take the card, you do not argue.
He brakes eye contact and turns to follow his friend. You stand confused about the energy and mood surrounding him.
"What did he hand you." Your captain questions, motioning toward your hand.
"Some spurt of business card, with his number." You look to the card, only to see one phone number in small white fount.
"We'll keep it for files, but they aren't clear from questioning. They had no set alibi for our time of death, and refused to talk for our detectives." The captain explains. "Except for you, he seemed to open a bit for you. Your in charge of investigating the family."
You don't bother to argue with the captain, and except your spot on the case, besides there was something about Massimo that made you want to meet him again.
