'(Y/N) NO!'
~
Hermione felt as if she had once again been petrified. Her entire body was stiff and her eyes were shut.
'I'm pretty sure I'm dead...yeah I saw a green light coming from a death eater Harry was fighting. Harry! Did he win the war?! RON! WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO DO WITHOUT ME! WHAT IF THEY SURVIVED AND BLEW UP THEIR HOUSES! WHAT IF-'
Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a hand shaking her. She felt her senses returning and her eyes snapped open. She jolted right up into a sitting position, frantically looked around her surroundings to get at least a clue at where she was.
She was in a room just a bit smaller than the size of a regular Hogwarts dorm room. The walls were painted in red and green. There was a large emerald bookshelf in one corner with a wooden study table and a mint green sofa beside it. She looked around more and saw a pair of stormy grey eyes, staring at her with a hint of shock in his face.
"Hey! You're finally awake,"
Hermione eyed him. He had short raven locks falling on his face and a sharp nose. He was wearing a simple olive vest and a plain black tie around his neck.
'Godric, if (Y/n) wore that....'
The brunette snapped back and decided to go with the cautious route.
"W-who are you? And where are we right now?"
'So brave Hermione'
The guy cleared his throat,"I'm Regulus, but that doesn't matter now. I've been sent her to check up on you so that you're alright before meeting the Vice Commander."
"Vice Commander?"
"Don't worry, she's alright. Cmon we best be going, you took longer than usual. Luckily you just panicked a bit when I woke you up," he made a hand gesture telling Hermione to stand up and follow him. Hermione stayed on the bed she was on, a confused look on her face.
"She'll explain everything once we get there," he assured her.
Hermione didn't have any other choice and followed him out the room to a large empty hall. Tall narrow pillars full of patterns were holding up the marble ceiling, each at least one foot apart from each other. The entire hall was illuminated by just red flamed torches ( just imagine the nether fortress if u want idk ). It gave Hermione an eerie feeling, unlike the room she woke up in. They kept walking, the clicking of their shoes hitting the marble floors refraining a deafening silence. Few minutes passed and they halted, looking at the large dark red double door in front of them.
'Here we are, the Vice Commander's office," He announced as he knocks a strange pattern.
"Reg is that you?"a muffled voice was heard from inside.
He opened the door and made another hand gesture telling Hermione to wait there then went in the room.
"Vice Commander, I was just escorting the guest that you asked for."
"Thank you Reg"
"I'll let you both settle here and sort things out."
He went out the door to look back at Hermione and nodded his head to the room. He went off, leaving a quick smile.
Hermione inhaled some air and went in the room.
"Excuse m-"
She stopped in her tracks as she stared.
~
A bushy haired girl knocked on the train compartment in front of her.
'Excuse m-'
Her hand froze in the air, eyes staring at the captivating girl inside.
'I w-was just wondering if you've seen a toad by any chance? My friend Neville lost him.'
She felt her heart beating as she waited for her response, instead getting one from someone else.
'No but I sure am looking at one!'
Tears prickled as she hears the howling laughter from the compartment.
A head peered out the door gazing at the bushy haired girl running away, leaving a sympathetic look.

The Gryffindor was left speechless and stood there dumbfounded.
"Granger?"
