A child's eye is a treasure.
Something uncommon yet familiar to all.
Lost with age, with only fond memories.
Tidbits of time and laughter all in one.
GONE.
The child's eye is ruined.
Something that has always happened.
The unfortunate event of tragedy,
drained the happiness out.
DIFFERENT.
The child's eye is not of a child's.
It is of someone beyond.
No longer is there the gleam of happiness,
only the remains of sadness and,
CRIES.
The child's eye is now dead.
The age has grown, to eternity.
Lifeless eyes glaring at you.
Thinking 'if only looks could kill.'
HATRED.
The child's eye is not what it once was.
The youth is now gone.
Replaced is the elder.
Trapped within the body of a child's.
CAGED.
