I hate starting books out like this, but I highly doubt most of you read the description, and I don't blame you, so I'm going to explain a few things here, and then I'll get out of your hair.
The only thing that's gonna be canon in this story about you is your physical appearance and you're name, and possibly some of your personal preferences, like your favorite color and such, but that depends on what you all want. Of course, instead of yourself, you could also do maybe an OC of yours, or even change some stuff about the real you, just for the story, you can do whatever you want with that.
In this story, your life is going to be diffrent than it is now, in other words, you're not gonna really have the same family or lifestyle you do now, and you are gonna be apart of Moomin universe, maybe just not in the way you think (in other words, I'm not going to have an instance where the protagonist (you) is gonna be transported into the moomin world or something crazy like that). I'm gonna break the canon a bit when it comes to world building, but, no worries, it's not going to effect the moomin world itself really.
With the ages, I'm assuming most of you are in the range anyway, but just so you all know, in this story, you can be anywhere from 13-18 (of course, you can be younger or older than that irl, but that is the possible range for your age in the story). Snufkin is going to be a very mature sixteen-year-old.
I'm gonna be writing in third person, if that's alright, because I personally don't really like writing or even reading in second person, and I feel I write best in third person, so yeah, just to get that heads up. Just imagine I'm a storyteller, telling you a story about yourself in another AU where you live in the Moomin world.
One more thing, the story is going to take place in the 1990's cartoon, because it's personally my favorite, and I assume it's most others as well. The only thing different is that Snufkin will be smoking a pipe like he does in the original, so just imagine 90s Snufkin with a pipe in his mouth.
