Author's note: This is all one paragraph because I feel that if I add more, it will waste space. I wrote this myself. To be completely honest, I'm not sure when I'll update.

A thick, water-like film clouds Drax's eyes as he recounts the events that occurred the night before. He had been abused to the point of wanting to run away. After his parents were finished with him, Drax ran to his room, grabbed a large backpack and shoved in the bare essentials; food, water, his phone, ect. Drax's parents knew what he was going to do, they laughed at him and told him he'd never make it without them, that it was them who keep him alive. As he got into his car, he realized they were right. He had no friends he could call, he had no relatives, he couldn't call the police, they wouldn't believe him. Drax had tried once, many years ago. His parents had told the officers that he was just confused on what was a punishment and what abuse was. Then, the officers left, not asking any more questions. After a while, Drax's tears subsided. He had to remember where he was, he couldn't let people see him cry like this. He puts on his headphones and starts playing songs from his favorite band, Falling In Reverse. It was the first day of school, Drax knew what kinds of people to avoid. He starts walking into the school, trying to ignore everyone that crosses his path. He reaches into his school bag and pulls out his acceptance letter. His acceptance letter carried everything he needed; his classes, his locker number, his locker combination, ect. Drax glances around him as he finds his locker number on the letter. He then keeps moving down the hallways until he finds it. His locker was in a secluded area, and, to his relief, he was alone in the hallway. Drax dialed in his locker combination as he hears something that sounds muffled through listening to "Isolate". The Sub Urban song was one of his favorites. The noise sounds again. Drax slowly lowers his volume and takes his headphones off, turning around, "Oh, thank Irene!" A short neko exclaims."I thought you didn't hear me!" She says, her blue eyes scanning his appearance. "Hm?" Drax was slightly confused as to why this cat girl was talking to him. "Were you even listening to me?!" Her lylac curls bounce as she holds her arms. "N-no?" Drax stutters, sidetracked in looking at every detail he could of her. The mysterious neko places her hands on her hips and glares at him, "What I was saying, was that I need help finding my locker." Her long hair falls into her face as she looks down. "Why are you asking me for help? Why not one of the teachers?" Drax was puzzled. "Well duh. Isn't it obvious? I couldn't find anyone else." She says, looking around as if to prove her point. He sighs, then agrees, though reluctantly. The neko's grey tail flicks back and fourth excitedly. "Alright, what's your locker number?" "242." The neko responds cheerfully, starting to walk forward. "242 would be that-a-way." Drax says, pointing behind her. "Oh!" She says before she turns around and sets off, Drax trying to follow her so she doesn't get lost. On their way to the locker, the neko girl starts up conversation, " So, what's your name?" She asks. "Drax, Drax Sanchez. What about you?" Drax responds, disappointed she didn't ask sooner. "Oh! I'm Kayla Ro'meave." She says, looking in his direction. "Alright, Kayla, here's your locker." Drax says, gesturing towards locker 242. "Stay with me, okay, Drax?" Kayla says, glancing toward the white haired boy she just met. His eyes meet hers, one black, one yellow, before he nods. Kayla fumbles a bit with her locker before declaring she needs help. Drax sighs, then moves her aside, resetting the lock. "What's your locker combination, Kayla?" He asks, waiting. "47-35-07." In one fluid motion, Drax dials in the code and opens the locker with ease. He smiles crookedly at Kayla, stepping back from her locker to give her some room. She manages to fit herself into the locker and laughs, "It's not too cramped in here. " Kayla looks at the tall boy directly in front of her locker. Drax leans on her locker, smiling at her kindly. Kayla glances up, just in time to witness Drax loosing his balance and falling into the locker with her. The locker slams shut as vicious laughter fills the air. The sound fades and eventually stops, leaving the hallway as silent as it was before. Drax was breathing heavily, his chest rising and falling quickly. Kayla, on the other hand, had her heart beating out of her chest, blushing nervously and looking up at him. "A-are you okay, Drax?" She looks at him, embarrassed. He looks down at her small figure and nods. "Uhm.. D-do you happen to have your phone on you? We could call someone to help us out." Kayla asks Drax, hopeful. "Yeah, I think I do." He says, starting to shift slightly before groaning in discomfort. "Gosh darn it. I can't reach for it." He says to her, his tone one of distress. "Oh! I might be able to!" She says, beginning to reach around him without thinking. As Kayla moves closer, Drax is pushed against the wall. Drax flushes red, "H-hey! Don't do that, Kaya!" He whispers, highly embarrassed. She stops suddenly and nods, moving back. "So, how are we planning to get out of here?" Drax asks. "N-not sure. I don't think there is a way to open it from the inside..." Drax sighs at Kayla's answer, unsure himself on how they could leave. As the bell rang, signalling that they are both late for class, heavy footsteps and the rattling of keys made themselves known in the silence of the hallway. Kayla perks up, an idea forming in her mind. "Help!" She yells, trying to pound on her locker in any way she could. The sound continues moving down the hallway as if unaffected by Kayla's screams. Eventually, the hallways are filled with silence once more.
