Chapter 3

"Jules, just stay quiet okay, I got this." Luke said in a rushed whisper. And thats when i heard them.

 “Hey blondie! How about i take you on the ride i promised you before. Come on, it'd be fun!” Heard Calum scream.That boy, he always managed to find the right button to push to piss me off.  Because I cant even imagine being one of those girls in the school, so now that he's treating me like one, Ive become more pissed off than ever. 

 “Fuck off Hood.” Luke yelled above the loud music playing from the car. Yet this act from Luke only made the three of them laugh, because there not afraid of him at all. To them he's just a lanky, awkward boy. But they better watch it, because I know Luke very  well, and he's much more than that. 

 Im pretty sure he could kick all of there ass’s right now if he wanted to, but I don't think he did. He just wanted to get me home. 

 “Come on Blondie, ditch the loser and come with us!” one of them shouted. Usually the insults that these guys threw at us wouldn't phase us, but this one hit Luke, and it hit him hard.Because before he started playing baseball with Benny and I, he was the laughing stock of the school. 

 He was always known as the math teachers son, so a complete loser. He wore these bright fluorescent green glasses, and had this terrible fringe, which he still kind of did have. And everyone noticed him, its hard to to with him being so tall. 

 So for, what Benny tells me,basically 5 years Luke was the laughing stock. He was alone, no friends, no one would even speak to him. But once I showed up all of that changed. He made friends, and was even quite popular, around us. Luke feels like he owes me everything.

 “Just leave us alone, were just trying to get home.” Luke said to them, is hand clenching around mine. I know he didn't mean to have such a strong grip on my hand it just happens. Oh was he pissed, he could've lunged at him right now, if it wasn't for me holding him back.

 “Shut up Hemmings, let the lady speak!” said Ashton, the one driving the car. “yea, let the lady speak!” the other two said in agreement. I could see Lukes face getting redder by the minute as I watched him turn to me and give me a small nod. So he was really going to let me speak to them. Benny was not going to like this.

 “What do you want Hood.” I asked. At this point all I wanted to do was get home, and if this was what had to happen, so be it. And we weren't that far away from mine an Lukes houses, which were right next door to each other. 

“And the lady speaks!” Michael said, seeming quite happy that i had finally stopped ignoring them.

“Why wont you let us give you a ride, blondie? I know you want to.” Calum asked, well he basically screamed it over the music they were playing. I think it was All Time Low. 

 "First of all, my names Julie, not Blondie. Second of all, Im not one of your girls, so just go away. I want no part of you Calum. Now if you don't mind, Im home, so bye. Come on Luke.” I said while dragging him down the path and into my house.
