twenty-five: "thday Hero"

Josephine's Pov

It's Hero's birthday and I didn't wished him happy birthday yet.
Nathan took me Hero's gift to my office and then I realized how silly I am.
I spend the whole evening making also Nathan come with me in so many shops to find him a birthday present and that's how treats me.

When I get home with also the little cake that I ordered with on "happy birthday Hero" wrote in blue frosting because Scarlett once said that is his favorite color.
I really want to throw it out from the window but I don't want waste my money and I still can eat it.
So I open the door of his bedroom and I put the cartoon bag on his bed and then I go to the kitchen.

Hey, can I come over tonight?

Nathan🧑🏽‍💻: of course! Prepare also
the clothes for tomorrow so we can
go to work together!

Okay! Can you come to pick me up?🥰

Nathan🧑🏽‍💻: Of course! I'm there in a blink of an eye.

So I take my bag and I pack my pajama and the clothes for tomorrow morning. I take my skincare products and my laptop.

Someone nocks to the door.
"Nathan?" I ask before open the door.
"Yep." he says so I open and his smiles changed my mood.
Thank God that I knew him. Thank you Christian.
"Hey." I say hugging him thigh.
"Woah. Did I missed to you this much?" he asks giggling.
"I just very happy to see you every time." I say honestly.
"So let's go." he says.
"No first, I have to do a thing. Do you like cake?" I ask taking his wrist and making him walk in and then close the door.
"Is that even a question?" he asks looking at me rising his both eyebrows.
God I love this guy.
I giggle going to the fridge and open the cake.
"Wait is that Hero's?" he asks worried.
"Yeah, I bought it. He will not be able to come so it's okay. We will eat this." I say cutting it in two and then take the part where is written "-thday Hero" put it on a plate and then put it back on the fridge.
I'm going to eat that if hero doesn't.
Happy birthday Hero. You even deserve this piece of cake.
I take the box with in the other part where there is "Happy bir-".
"Okay let's go." I say and then he takes my bag with all my stuff and walk out.
I don't even wanna see him tonight that's why I really wanted to go at Nathan's. It's not a bad idea Nathan's needs some company so do I.

Hero's Pov

"No guys is already two AM, I have to stop drinking and go back to home. Bro, can you give me a ride?" I ask placing my hand on Felix shoulder.
"Bro you have to do Mark's dare." he says and then I look at the two girls dancing.
I'm not going to try to hook up with them, I even find them attractive.
"I'm not bro. Let's go. Thank y'all for all the gifts and for the amazing dinner. I love y'all fam." I say hugging everyone of them.
"Go, Josephine will be so preoccupied." Scarlett giggles still hugging me.
I roll my eyes.
"She will already be asleep from a while." I say while we walk out from the night club and then say good night to all and follow Felix to his car.
We listen some music and sing during the ride.
It was one of the most amazing nights ever but I can't understand why I really didn't enjoyed the boys jokes about the girls.
My mind was going back and forth from the night club to the apartment.
What she is doing? What she did all this evening? Is she fell asleep on the couch like she always do? If she is I'll not be able to carry her  because I feel like my legs are cut.
I'm so drunk right now, thank God that Felix decided to not drink to give me a ride.

"Thank you man, see you tomorrow. Good night and text me when you get home." I say hugging him when we're in front of the apartment door.
He wanted to make sure that I actually get to the door safely.
I'm not that drunk.
"Good night bro and happy birthday again grandpa." he says teasing me so I push him and he walks away giggling.
