Ellie's POV

these past few months have been amazing, diving is the best thing ever, i don't know why i was so nervous. I met Hannah the week affter i started and we got on like a house on fire. Me. Jack, Alicia and Hannah were the best of friends. My brothers were starting to get a bit jealous that i was getting all the attention because of my diving. My sister Katy didn't seem to mind, she loved Alicia, thats the only person she would speak to when they all came around to my house. She always draggs Alicia off to play with her, with her polly pocket. Well she is only 6 so who can really blame her. My brother Ben who is three years older and me get along really well, he is always so protective around me, especially at school if someonne was teasing me for doing diving, where as my other brother Jake who was two years older jus ignored me, we were always consently fighting, it was always him who started it, i would always come away from the fight with a new bruise or scar. He thinks he is better then everyone else coz hes second oldest, He is always teasing Jack, Alicia and Hannah when they came to play or to sleep over.

"Jake!!, Jack, Alicia and Hannah are coming to sleep tonight, please can you not tease them for once?" i said pleading him. i was stepping in his room because i knew he would attack me if i did.

"No promises there sis!" he smirked.

"Jake can you just stop it you think because you are in Year 6 that you are all hard core but you are not" i said as i play punched him. I started to walk out and felt a hand grab me from behind, i knew it was Jake straight away.

"JAKE! stop it! i was only play punching" i said as Jake was punching me really hard in my back.

"MUM!!!! JAKE IS HURTING ME!!" I screamed my loudest until my mum came up and seperated us.

"You two have got to stop fighting, its all you ever do. Ellie go downstairs your friends are waiting for you! You're Lucky i didn't send them straight back home" My mum shouted at me, i was in tears because Jake had given me bruises all the way up my back.

"It wasn't my fault mum! I only went to tell him something and he started punshing me. Its not my fault he's not like Ben. I wish he was he is the worst brother ever! I shouted as i ran out crying. I ran downstairs to get Jack, Hannah and Alicia so we can go to my room and start the sleepover. When i got to the living room, i saw they had been playing slaps and took it way to far because Hannah and Jack both had red hands and cheeks and Alicia was stood near the middle of them and was blowing the whistle when ever one of them cheated. i coughed and they looked up to see me with red puffy eyes because i had been crying.

"Hey whats up Monty?" Jack said to me to make me laugh because he knew calling me by my nickname always made me laugh. (My last name is Montgomery, thats why they call me Monty).

"Just my brother, im sick of him. hes always hurting me, just look what bruises he gave me this time" I snifled ulling up my shirt to show them my back that was covered with bruises that Jake gave me.

"Wow Ells they look bad, i can tell that Jake did that to you coz i know Ben wouldn't do a thing to hurt you, hes so protective over you!" Alicia muttered as she hugged me.

"Come on guys, lets not let Jake ruin our sleepover. What shall we do first? but remember we hav to be up early tomorrow for diving. i cant wait." Hannah said trying to cheer me up and keep my mind off what horrible things Jake does to me. We giggled then we had a group hug. i dont know what i would do without these guys. they are the best friends ive eve had.

That night we stayed up late watching movies because we were really excited for diving tomorrow because some divers from plymouth are coming to train with us. We fell asleep about half 12 and before we knew it it was time to get up. we trooped downstairs for breakfest after we had got our gear on. We ate breakfest in silence becaus we were so tired but excited for today. we were gona meet plymouths divers for the first time.
