My Forever Man

Chapter 4 - Burger King

I tap his arm and he turns around. I figure I won't say anything yet so that I don't ruin our "friendship" before it even starts.

"Whats up" I just shrug and smile. He smiles back and turns back to his friends. I do it about 2 more times and we start laughing. I am really getting attracted to this boy and I shouldn't be. I mean how bad can he be? I don't judge off of other people's opinions. I just hope he isn't everything everyone says he is.

I slide my leg over his and then pull it off quickly.

"hahahahah, I'm just kidding!" He smiles and just tells me it's cool and pulls my leg back on. So I do and I start to engage in the conversation that the others were having. I look down and notice that he's rubbing my leg and playing with the strings from my ripped jeans. I smile and stare at them for a little more. He notices and I have to play it off and say that I was staring into space. I return back to the conversation and still feel his light touches on my thigh. About 20 minutes pass and Yolanda gets up and whispers something in Jose's ear. He starts to get up. No wait! Don't take himmm!! I guess he could see it in my face because he leans towards my ear and whispers,

" Hey you wanna come with me and Yolanda? We're about to go smoke but if you want you can come." I nod and tell him that I won't be smoking. He grabs my hand and leads me up the block. We stop a couple houses down and Yolanda pulls out her lighter. Jose gives me his sweater so that I don't get the smell on my shirt and because it's cold. I refuse at first but he insisted.

We start to walk back to Burger King and Yolanda drops her lighter but Jose and I were walking ahead so we wait for her. His arm is around my waist and he is holding me tightly. I am watching Yolanda and he comes to me and whispers in my ear.

"You know I haven't had a kiss in a while" Did he really just say that? Did I hear him wrong? I turn to face him and we are face to face and I plant a kiss on his lips quickly and softly. Wow. His lips are so soft.

"Your lips are really soft" He smiles. I blush and look away.

"I saw that!!!" Yolanda yells and I start to laugh. Jose does too. His laugh is the most brightest thing I've heard. Look at his smile, it gets better every time. He catches me staring and I have to look away. We walk back to Burger King and I stay for another hour then head back home.
