Jamie POV
I stepped out of the forest for the first time in 4 years and looked around. People gasped and stared at me. Why? "Hey, get out my way, black bitch." Oh. Yeah. I wandered aimlessly until I ran into a man. "I'm sorry, mister." I helped him up. "No problem. Are you lost?" I nodded.
He leads me to a nice car, and I hesitate before going in. "What's your name?" He asked. "Jamie. Jamie DeVoni." "Charles Xavier." He pulls up to a mansion, a huge one, and leads me inside. I take a seat while he gets someone for a check-up. "I'm going to try to reach your relatives." I shrugged.
He walks in with a man covered in blue fur. He took a seat next to me. "Hello. I am Dr. Hank McCoy."
After the check-up, Charles comes in with the people I never wanted to see again. My parents. "Dear! We missed you! Are you okay?" I looked up. "I heard you got remarried." "Yes. I am so sorry for ever abusing you and your father is too." I stood up. "No! You're a liar! Moms and Dads are supposed to love each other and not hurt their kids! I am NEVER coming back with you!" My mother appeared angry. She kicks me in the rib and tackled me to the ground with her new husband.
Hank and Charles tried to pry them off me, and I had enough. I stopped struggling and black dots danced around my eyes. I felt them be ripped-off of me and people pick me up.
I woke up and looked around me. People were looking at me as I stirred. "What happened?" "You were attacked. Logan here pried them off you." I look up groggily at him and wave. He waves back and I huff. "So what happens now?" "You stay here." "But this is for mutants." "Look down." I look down and see inky black vine-like things. I look at my reflection and see that one eye is ink-black the other is bleach white. "Wow."
