The team began driving straight toward Zane's workplace.

The Sunset hotel has an uncanny look that dominates the landscape.

They entered the hotel, greeted by a young woman that occupied the reception desk.

" Good morning. How may I help you all? " She asked with a smile.

" We would like to talk about one of your employees. " Sasha said.

" That depends. " The woman responded.

" His name is Zane. " Outbreak said.

The receptionist dialed a number, picking up her phone.

" Sir, there are four Fort Echo members in the hall that wish to speak to you. "

She hangs up the phone in a fast motion, with an awkward expression on her face as she slowly turns to them.

The doors of an elevator opened, and out came an old Asian man with white hair and sunglasses, wearing a reasonably good suit.

" Good day, soldiers. What can I do for you? " He asked in a weak voice.

" We would like to talk to you about Mr. Z. " She said as the man took a loud sip from his coffee mug.

" First, he rarely shows up. Secondly, he's a fucking creep, and thirdly, he's bringing trouble to our hotel! " He yelled, getting the unwanted attention of the guests.

" Sir, Mr. Zane is dead. The CBRN found his body in the morning. " Sasha whispered.

" Dead? "

He looked around him to make sure no one heard their conversation.

" Come with me. We'll talk more in my office. "

The five of them took the elevator.

When inside, there were over ten red buttons in the elevator, and the steel walls, felt a little bit cramped.

When the doors of the elevator opened, they entered the minimal office.

It was an extremely luxurious one, with floors made of wood, bright lights, and green concert walls with large graffiti artwork.

He went to his small bar on the right side of the room.

" Please take a seat. "

They all sat in front of them as he took a sip of his drink.

" I would love to help as much as I can. " The old man said with a fake smile.

" When we first met, you talked about his strange behavior, but was he like that usually? " She asked.

" Yes, for a few days, he was distracted at work. Sometimes he would arrive late. So I assumed that he had overslept. "

Everyone looked at each, knowing that almost no soldier would ever miss out on the meeting room.

" The only reason I let him get away with it for so long was that he was one of my best employees. " He said while refilling his mug.

" Did you know if Mr. Z is part of any other company? " Sasha said as she took notes.

" Not that I know off, but then again, I didn't know him on any personal level. "

" Did he have any friends that were close to him? " She asked once again.

" I believe there was this one lady on his floor. "

" May we speak to her? " Sasha asked, with everyone eyeing him.
