Chapter 37-The Date

Natsu was walking towards the Café then his phone ringed "Hello" he answered and on the other side of the call was Lucy, "Hey Natsu," she said. "Hey Lucy, what's up," he asked "Hey, are you free Saturday" She replied, "Actually I have the day off, Why?" said the boy "Because that day you and I are going on a Date" Lucy replied. "A Date?" the boy replied, "Yeah, I realize that we never had one yet?" he replied while the pink-haired boy walked his way into the Café. "Oh yeah, I guess you're right," he replied while putting on speakerphone and changing into his work clothes. "Well, yes, ever since that day at Tenrou island when you showed me that sunset and kissed me." Lucy's voice becomes shy and bashful that caught Natsu's attention that causes him to blush, "oh yeah, I remember that," he replied bashfully. Lucy continued, "You are all I think about, Natsu" he gasped to her response as he turned into color red "oh, I see," the boy replied as he finished changing, turned off the speakerphone, and placed the phone against his ear. "Yeah so I will see you Saturday, I will text you the address and time on where to meet up on that day, okay bye" she hung up before getting a response from Natsu.

Natsu stood there as the clock was ticking. "She was thinking about me," he said as an image of Lucy came into his head, and then he smiled. "Well, guess what? Weirdo, I was thinking of you too at one point" he put his phone on silent and stick it into his apron pocket and got to work. "Hello, welcome to Blue Pegasus, My name is Summer-San, and I will be your butler for today" he smiled at the customer with a cheerful grin. The people at his table were staring at him and replied with a kind matter "Can I get you something to drink," Natsu asked, "Why yes kind Sir, I will take a mocha latte and for my wife, she is will have the same, and for my children, they will have..." the man gets intruded. Still, of his kids by saying "Come on, Dad, I can order my drink if you don't mind, I will have a cherry Pepsi with no ice," said the boy as Natsu wrote down in his little booklet. "As for me, I will have a coke with ice," said the family's daughter. "Very well I will be back with your drinks" Natsu replied and then walked away and then a few minutes later came back with the drink "Okay two Mocha Latte, One Cherry Pepsi with no ice and a coke" He gave the customer the glass and asked if they are ready for their order and they said yes. "All right, then what can I get for you guys," he asked, and the family told him what they wanted.

Meanwhile, at Lucy's place, she was sitting in her dressing room after talking to Natsu about their date. Still, then she started to feel butterflies in her stomach "Oh dear Mavis did I asked him out on a date" said her nervous mind screaming into her head as she remembers what said "I was thinking about you, Natsu" Lucy started freaking out as she couldn't believe she said that to him. But then she took a deep breath to calm her nerves. "Calm down Lucy you have until Saturday, and you've got everything planned," She replied as she heard Aries come in. "Lucy, it is time for your photoshoot. "Coming," Lucy replied as she and her sister Aries walked to the photo shooting gallery. The lights were flashing as Lucy thought to herself, 'This no big deal, I am used to this sort of thing. But I still get nervous in front of photographers. So to calm on nerves, I learned to be patient and take my time. because one thing I have to learn as a model is that rushing to do something will only cause a train wreck' her thoughts were flowing as the cameras continued flashing "all right, Lucy gives me another pose," said Jacob as Lucy gave him a different pose. 'This method of mine always seems to work in my favor within the job, or with a live-in general. However, my method never seems to work with me when I am with Natsu I get way more nervous around him' She finished with her last photoshoot as Jacob, and his crew called it a day. Lucy went back into her dressing room and looked at the mirror "Is it because I am in love with him, of course, I keep telling myself, but I wonder if he feels the same about me" she thought back to the time they sent together. "Maybe he does, but I won't know for sure until Saturday night" She praised herself and cannot wait for that day

Time Skip-Saturday

Natsu got a text from Lucy to meet her at 9:00 "Nine o clock at the amusement park," he said while putting on something casual to wear on his first date. "This will have to do," he said as heard a knock on the door. "Natsu, it's Wendy can come in," she asked, "yeah sure," Natsu replied as Wendy let herself in his room. "So is it true that Lucy asked you on a date," she stated. "All right were you eavesdropping on me little sister" he replied as she gave him a grin pleading guilty as Natsu sighed and said "Oh good grief" Wendy rub the back of her head "Sorry I sometimes can't help myself" she giggle as Natsu smile and joined into for her laughter. Wendy later changed out his outfit for his date and gave him a few pointers from a woman's perspective. Natsu felt a little embarrassed to take advice from someone younger than himself. Still, he does admit that Wendy does give out useful tips. "So this is good enough, don't need to be too overdressed or flashy," Natsu asked "You look perfect, big brother," Wendy replied and gave him a thumbs up. "Thanks, Wendy." Both walked down the stairs and headed towards the front door where Grandeneey checks out her son wardrobe "You look handsome young man" she stated as Natsu flushed toward her comment "Thanks Mom" he replied and then walked out the door waving at his mom and sister and headed towards the meaning point.
