Player's Love

I should not be right here. I should be cooped up in my room, figuring out how to do this project report that's due this coming Monday. I've got two days left.

But here I am, sitting down in a cafe sipping my iced cold latte while waiting for a guy that's supposed to be here 10 minutes before.

How did this happen? All thanks to my best friend. She received a coupon from a lucky draw that entitles one to a free date session. She proceeded to sign me up for a one day date from this particular dating website, onedayslove.

"You're helping me to rent a boyfriend?" This was the first thing I asked Ino when she told me about it.

The rules of this date are simple. You meet the person who's randomly assigned to you, he brings you out for a day of activities at your request, or you follow his plans. Basically, he'll be your one day boyfriend.

After finishing half of my latte, a figure appeared in front of me. I looked up and was greeted by a pair of onyx eyes.

"Hello there, you must be Haruno Sakura, right? I'm Uchiha Sasuke, your one day date. First off, sorry that I'm late. I was caught up in a meeting with a company. Hope you'll understand." The guy spoke.

"I don't like people who are not on time, Uchiha. But anyways, nice to meet you too." He then took a seat opposite me and ordered a cup of espresso.

"As for my time management problem, you do not have to worry. After all, I'm only meeting you this once." He smirked jokingly.

"You!" I glared at him.

I really should not be here.

"Well, well, we should not be hostile to each other. Let's be friendly beings and get to know one another first." He said that calmly.

"I'll start off" He initiated.

"My name, you know it. Uchiha Sasuke. I've been working with onedayslove for about half a year now. I've met many girls but not an unwilling one yet. Until now." He looked at me intently.

"That's not nice to say, Uchiha." I retorted.

"Your turn. Tell me about yourself. You're an interesting person."

"Haruno Sakura, I graduated from university two years ago. My friend signed me up for this session without my consent by the way."

"Then, why are you here?"

"To see how this date plays out. I'm pretty interested in how you all work."

"Seriously, Haruno? People pay to date us. It's business." He explained. "You said you just graduated from uni not long ago. What did you major in?"

"Hospitality Management."

"What a coincidence. I took hospitality management back then in uni too." He smiled. "Back to topic. Favourite colour, deep blue."

"Pink."

"I love playing sports. Especially volleyball."

"I hope to smack you with the ball one day. I'm a volley player too." I grin.

"You wouldn't be too sure about landing a hit on me. I was a school team player." He answered proudly.

"And don't think my shots aren't accurate too. I was a school team player as well."

"Well but sadly, we won't be meeting after today, so there goes your chance to trash me in a game."

"You seem to be very fixated with the rules of the date huh Uchiha."
