In 1st period I couldn't focus on anything because I just couldn't get over the fact that Skyler actually talked to me first.
After first period I went to my locker to switch my books for my next class. When I was finished in my locker I closed it only to find Skyler said standing behind the door of my locker.
"Hey," he said.
I was freaking out. Violet, who was standing behind me, lightly shoved me to remind me that it would be a good idea to respond. "Hey yourself," I said nervously.
"What class do you have next?" He asks.
"Umm... American Sign Language," I say genuinely trying to remember where I have to be when the bell rings.
"That's cool. I have physics next. I could walk you to to your class if you want me to. It's on the way to my class. It's no problem to me," He offered.
Violet pushed me harder this time and gave me a look that said "let him walk you to class dumbass." I look back to him and nod.
We started walking to our classes in silence. When we stopped outside my classroom he gave me a hug, said goodbye, and went to his class.

When lunch finally rolled around I had calmed down from my heart attack and could think semi-clearly. I sat down at a table and waited for Violet to show up with her overflowing plate of food.
When she finally showed up she sat down at the table and started to talk about Ronnie.
"Ronnie texted me last night. We were up talking for hours about everything. He's so sweet. He actually gets me. I seriously think he might be the one," Vi said before she started eating.
"You still think he's the one? Really? You've barely known him a week. I know you Vi. When you like a guy you fall for him. And you fall hard. He's probably just like Vincent or Greg," I say.
Violet gives me a dry look and says, "I know it this time. He's not like those other guys."
I don't believe her but I let or go for the time being. "Are you gonna hangout with him any time soon? I wanna meet him," I say.
"Yeah. After school. You can come hang out with us."
With those words the bell rings and everyone starts filing out of the cafeteria to go to class.

When the last bell rings I make my way to the front of the school to meet Violet. When I get there I see that Violet is in a car with this hot and clearly older guy. I walk up to the car but Violet is to wrapped up in who I can only assume is Ronnie. When I finally get her attention she introduces us.
"Hey. I'm Ronnie," he says.
"I'm Valkyrie, Violet's best friend," I say. He has a nice deep voice.
"Cool. Me and Vi were just gonna hang out at the beach today. Is that cool with you?"
"Yeah. It's fine," I say.
"Cool, hop in." He says to me.
"We're gonna have a blast! " Violet says and squeals.
I didn't have my bathing suit and neither did Violet so I wasn't to worried about us getting in the water.
After our little conversation I got in the car and was silent on the car ride to the beach.
The whole time we were at the beach we walked on the sand. The whole time I was observing him to see if there was any similarities between him and Vincent or Greg. By the time he drove me home I had successfully concluded that he was a decent person.
When I got home I immediately texted Violet.
Me: I approve
Vi: I told you he wasn't like the other guys
Me: I believe you now
Vi: good. I gtg. I'm still with Ronnie. I'll see you in school tomorrow
