To the End of it All

The Beggining

Nothing feels real anymore. Not after the news that I just had dropped on me. Sword Art Online is a death game.If we die here our bodies in th real world will be dead. This isn't real, there is no way that any of this can be real. I think to myself and sink to my knees. I can see that others are feeling that same feeling. Some people are crying others just staring into space.

My notifications signal blinks as a new item enters. When i open up my inventory and heck the unknown item called "Mirror" i stare at my own reflection in confusion.

"What the hell?" I say as a bright light forms around me. When it dies down I look at my hands. They're no longer the bulky muscular hands of my avatar, but the hands of my own body.

"This just can't be.." I say and look up as somene runs past me. All i see is a blur of red, but that was all I needed to see. I got up and ran after them. After a few steps outside of the courtyard they stop and turn to me.

"Who are you and why are you following me?" she asks looking at me from the corners of her blue eyes.

I stutter over my answer before she turns fully brushing her shoulder length red hair out of her eyes. "I wll ask you one more time. Who the hell are you?"

"My name is Ukhad, as for why I'm following you...you're the only one in the whole world that seems to have a clue. You're the only one that got up and moved while we all sat and paniced."

She chuckles at that and walks over to me. "Well my name is Skyler." she says holding out her hand. "But enough with the pleasantries; we need to get going. There's a quest that rewards you with a good amount of gold in the next village. I'm not sure how many others players know about it so we need to get moving." she says turning toward the road.

I nod and start walking when a new notification pops up. A party request from Skyler. Just as i press the accept key she runs past me.
