Chapter 7: What?????

Brittany POV:

It was pretty awkward but I didn't want to say anything. Niall kept making me laugh which helped a lot but I could still feel his eyes on me. Adam was texting me and I couldn't help a smile on my face formed. I still missed him and I will always love him but I'm not even sure if it's like the way I use to. Honestly it was different with luke but apparently not for him. All that happened last night we left around 11 and decided to have a girls night. We fell asleep about 2 in the morning. I woke up at 11 and had some text from luke and adam. I ignored the ones from luke right now and saw that adam had asked if we could hang out today I said yes because I still missed him but I want to be friends nothing more. We decided to meet at the store and we would walk back here since we were having another bonfire tonight. I knew the guys were invited but I decided I wasn't going to let it get to me. I got dressed after taking a shower wearing ripped jean shorts and a black pierce the veil tank top. I put on a beanie and walked to the store after telling the girls I was leaving. I walked pass the boys house and saw the 5sos boys on the porch and they waved at me so I waved back. I made it to the store after while listening to all time low the entire way. I saw adam and walked up to him giving me a smile. We started walking back together and he was making me smile and laugh. He helped keep luke off my mind until he asked what was wrong. He knew me to well I told him what happened and he looked angry but he asked me if I had let him explain and I said no and he looked at me like I was crazy. He said I should've but he knew why I didn't. I had been hurt in the past and he had changed that. We only broke up because the distance was too much. We were passing the boys house and I saw that they weren't out and I was kinda glad but also upset cuz I wanted to see him. We walked in and the girls looked up. I saw adam tense up in the corner of my eye and I knew why. The girls didn't particularly like him. All the girls started shouting questions and i yelled shut up and they did. I told them i ran into him the other day and we were just talking i told adam to go to my room and I'll be there in a sec. I told the girls after he left nothing is going on between us i only like him as a friend. The girls believed me and I walked upstairs to my room. I looked across out the window and saw luke and calum in their room but they had looked up and saw me and adam. I acted like I didn't see them and adam saw and went and pulled the blinds down and shut the curtains. We were just talking about our life and how everything was going and he told me about this girl he really liked and was thinking about asking her to be his gf but wanted to do it in a special way. I asked him what she was like and he told me that she was gorgeous loves to tell stupid but funny jokes and is always nice. I told him why doesn't he take her to a special place to him and have a huge dinner set up there and make it like any other date and maybe even have a plane write in the sky will you be my gf? And he told me I had an amazing idea and hugged me. I laughed and he got off me after I told him he was squishing me. We just laugh and the girls yelled for us to help them. We came down and started helping them out. Adam asked the girls to talk and they said yeah. He said he just wanted to make amends and be friends and that he wanted us to help him set up this thing for his gf. The girls thought about it and agreed. I taught to my pilot buddy and he said he would do it. Adam told us his special spot and we set everything up. Adam and Gabriella showed up and everything went down. She said yes and they kissed. I got to meet her and we instantly clicked adam asked her if she wanted to join us but she couldn't but said another time. Adam took her home and he met us back at the house I saw the guys there and i thought oh boy here we go. I changed into some shorts and a bring me the horizon crop top with my blue strapless bathing suit underneath. Me and adam walked down to meet everybody. We walked and sat down. I could feel luke's eyes on me but tried to ignore it. I saw out of the corner of my eye after adam had made me laugh get up and storm off. I looked after him and I saw adam look to and he told me to go. The guys met him already and they knew nothing was going on. I saw the boys also tell me to go after him. I did and saw him sitting by the shore and started walking over. I said luke and he looked up I went and sat by him and that is where it all happened.

Lukes POV:

It's been stressful not talking to Brittany but the guys told me she needed space. It was about 1030 when the guys called me down and we went outside on the porch to practice some and just to talk. At 11 something I heard a door next door open and saw someone walk out. I then saw that it was Brittany when she got closer. She looked beautiful as ever and I can't believe I messed it up. She was wearing ripped jean shorts and a peirce the veil tank top and a beanie on her head. She looked up and saw us and waved and so we waved back. I wanted to talk to her but the guys told me I could tonight I looked confused and til they told me that there was another bonfire tonight. I decided I would talk to her then and went inside. Me and calum were talking when we both looked out the window and I swear my heart broke at what I saw. I saw Brittany with another guy in her room. He was about my height and had brown hair and blue eyes. I saw him look out the window and got up and pulled down the blinds and shut the curtains. I couldn't help but to believe that she had moved on that I didn't mean that much to her. That I had lost her before I could call her mine. I then saw the shadows of them get up and walk downstairs after being in her room for about 2-3 hours. It was now almost 7 and we headed down to the bonfire. I was wearing the all time low shirt I had let Brittany borrow which she had gave to niall to give back to me. It hurt to know that I most likely lost her for good. I was also wearing the blue swim shorts that Brittany told me she had liked when we hung out in my room before. We got there but Brittany and that guy were nowhere to be seen. We were hanging out when I looked up and saw her with him. They got closer and I saw that she was wearing some shorts and a bring me the horizon crop top. I saw her belly ring which was of a music note dangling. She and the guy had sat down and joined us. I was getting so angry that she had moved on and adam which I found out was his name was making her laugh. I couldn't take it anymore and got up and stormed off toward the water. I sat down and looked off toward the water. I heard footsteps kicking the sand and I just thought it was one of the boys until I heard her voice. Luke she said and I looked up at her and man she was beautiful when the wind was blowing through her hair. She came and sat down beside me and I couldn't take my eyes off of her she was looking at the water. She turned and looked at me and we just stared at each other for about 5 minutes. I could get lost in her beautiful light blue eyes. She looked away first and I then remember seeing her with adam and just scoffed and turned away. Luke what's wrong she says and I just about lose it. What's wrong really what's wrong you've been ignoring me for days and then you show up with him. Really did you already move on did I mean nothing to you. You didn't even let me explain. She turns to me and she looks pissed. I've had a right to ignore you. You hurt me luke you kissed my best friend. I was the one who meant nothing to you since you went and did what you did. I'm sorry I didn't let you explain but how could I when I fell for you and unlike you promised you weren't there to catch me. I was just a toy to you luke I thought you were different but it was wrong and adam is just a friend he has a girlfriend who he asked me to help ask her to be his gf in a special way. You meant a lot to me luke but I wish I meant the same amount to you she says. I look at her and see she is about to cry. I realized that I had hurt her which was the last thing I wanted to do. I then told her what happened and she listened I even said I was sorry I was jealous and thought I had lost her. I then looked at her while she was looking at the waves I then grabbed her face gently and turned it towards me. I stared into the blue eyes that I know I would fall for again and started leaning in. I even saw her lean in and close her eyes. Our lips met and it was like fireworks exploded inside of me and we just kept on kissing. I pushed her on her back and just keep on kissing her. I pulled away but put my forehead against hers. I then decided to do something I told her I would be back and wrote in the sand with a stick be mine in a heart and went back to her and asked her to come with me. I stood in front of it and she looked down and I could tell she was trying to hide her giggles. She then walked up to me and said.......
