Chapter 1

"Blow out Your candles Reese!" My mother says desperately wanting another cheesey picture for her status update.

I blow out my candles, deep in thought about the traditional wish you make. I am 15 now it is time for a new year. New me. I want to build more relationships with friends experience New things and just build on who I already am, I wanna live in the moment... being cautious of course.

"Okay can I go now?" I say appreciative but still eager with a sweet smile on my face. I really just wanna go to my room and think of what is going to come through this new year.

"Lets go out, Asap!" Hensley demands. She is my unbiological sister. Long dark blonde hair with highlights and ombré.

"Where to?" I ask slowly hiding my curiosity over her excitement.

"To cheyanne's!" She states as if I were supposed to know that. Cheyannes is the local ice skating rink.

"Well... let me change at least." I reply. Black jeans white lace & knit leg warmers, white t-shirt and a blueberry blue button coat from the mall.

We get into my car & I turn on the radio to listen to music, my addiction. When we arrive there are only maybe 6 other people there. Thank the heavens, crowding irritates me for a few reasons, like I can't skate around freely as much and the annoying falling of children on the ice. We go and put our skates on, I just got new ones for my birthday today, gotta break them in sometime.
