"You guys know each other?" the lady, my mom was talking to- who I figured was Mrs. Hood -asked Calum.
I looked at Calum, waiting for his reply, but he didn't. He continued looking at me like I was a ghost, with his eyes widened and mouth hanging.
"Calum?" I waved my hand infront of his face.
He snapped out and shook his head. "Huh? Oh... uh yeah. We know each other."
My mom was looking at her phone, looking anxious about something. "Oh my gosh, we have to go."
My dad raised an eyebrow at her, "Why? What's up?"
"He's back." she answered.
Who's he? Why don't I know about this? That's what I wanted to ask, but knowing my parents, they'd never tell anything. They're always the secretive type, but I don't mind cause the ones they keep are kept for a good reason.
"Am I coming with you guys?" I asked quietly.
My mom eyed my dad, obviously wanting him to answer. "Um... Wouldn't you wanna stay for awhile? I mean, you just got here. Maybe you wanna hang with..." my dad paused, looking around for people.
"Calum." my mom added, a little bit too excited.
"Oh yeah! You two could hang. My son could even drive you home." Mrs. Hood said.
What?
"What about you and dad, mom?" Calum asked his mother.
"Oh we'll be fine. Besides, your dad brought his car." his mom replied.
Before I could even protest, my mom spoke. "Okay. Since it's all settled, your dad and I have to go now."
They both hugged me goodbye, so did Calum's parents and left me with Calum only.
This is gonna be a long ass night.
-Calum's POV
Oh god. They're leaving me with Godzilla? They have to be joking.
I don't hate her, I just don't like her. On the first day we met, she went bitchy. No one goes bitchy on the Calum Hood.
I looked at her. She looked like a lost puppy. I could see the figures of her face, with her lips glowing pink and eyelashes originally long. I'm not going to lie, she is pretty. Also with the figures of her body,- not that I'm looking at them -she's an ideal one. But ofcourse... Not my type.
"So..." she tried starting a conversation, but it obvious in her face that she can't.
I groaned. This party's getting boring. "You wanna get out?" I asked her.
She thought about it for awhile, then sighed. "Yeah. Let's go!"
We left the house and headed for my car. I backed up, then started driving. I didn't actually know where I was going, but I kept driving. I looked at her, she was typing a message on her phone. She was... smiling, probably texting her boyfriend. I stretched my head to see the screen. She was texting a person called Pengoo.
I was about to read the message when I heard a long beep. I looked at the road and saw that I wasn't on the right lane. I quickly moved my car to right, which saved us from hitting the car. Phew! That was close.
"Holy crap! Am I dead?" she asked with her hands covering her eyes.
I chuckled at her reaction.
"Why the heck are you laughing? You almost got me killed." she smacked my arms.
"Hey! Don't smack me or else we'll crash." I warned her.
"I'll smack your face if you don't concentrate on driving."
