Chapter 1

           "The sound of waves crashing against the rocks is literally the best thing ever" Adaeze thought to herself. She threw her head back and allowed the cool breeze to run through her thick curly hair, her brown skin absorbing the last sunlight the day had to offer . " It's getting late you know how Aisha gets , lets go rosco ". The husky puppy tilted its head and followed behind her. Adaeze took out her phone , plugged in her headphones played the song " All night "by Icona pop she hopped on her skateboard and skated away. Finally after about 30 minutes of skating and switching between the same 5 songs Adaeze started nearing her house , as if he had been possessed rosco started to throw a barking fit. " rosco whats wrong ?" she asked , " did you see a chipmunk or something" she picked him up and turned to look into the direction he was barking at , she chuckled " look , you probably scared it away" rosco started to squirm finally he broke free from her grasp and rushed into the woods. " R-rosco!!" she exclaimed she bolted after him until she was surrounded by a wall of trees. " rosco boy come here" she shouted. She scanned her surroundings but to no avail. Adaeze's eyes started to tear up " I cant go home till i find him" she told her self , as she was trying to figure out where a husky puppy would go her phone rang. " ignore it " she whispered to herself " you gotta find rosco " Adaeze wandered for 15 minutes until finally something caught her eye. It glistened in the moonlight , as if it was calling her she walked closer to it out of curiosity. She slowly approached it trying to be as cautious as possible . " rossy is that you " she was finally able to see the source of the glistening object and it wasnt rosco , it was a man. Her eyes widened in shock , She fell to the soil hand covering her mouth. " Is he okay , is he dead , what should i do ?" a bunch of questions ran through her head " first let me make sure he's ok"  at first she hesitated contemplating what it is she should do , finally she gave in , she noticed the sweet citrus smell surrounding him. It was intoxicating almost , she reached out and touched his neck , " EEK " she yelled out she pulled her hand aways in panic and disgust. His skin was cold and felt like silk,the touch leaving a weird tingling sensation on her skin. Adaeze went into a full blown panic " ive gotta get help , i-ive gotta call someone". She reached out once again and touched his neck this time pressing down and feeling for a pulse. A low growl escaped from the mans lips , Adaeze realized this and sighed with relief " oh good you're a-" before the rest of the words could escape her lips something flashed before her eyes. " Huh " she thought " why is my leg wet " she looked down and to see red liquid staining her white shorts " wh-why" she thought. Adaeze looked up too see a pair of silver iridescent eyes menacingly looking down at her , before she knew could realize her legs were moving on her own and tears streaming down her face , Adaeze ran as fast an her legs could take her never looking back , her heart racing and her mind blank she didn't stop until the familiar door appeared to her. " Huh ? , Why is the ground getting closer, w-wa-" darkness consumed her.
