When I Met You

Chapter 1
 

*Elise’s POV*

“Attention American Airlines passengers, your flight will arrive at LAX in approximately 10 minutes.” the flight attendant said as i plugged my head phones in & continued to listen to ‘Reflections by Misterwives”.

*flight lands*

My best friend, Amanda & I walked to baggage claim. After about 20 minutes I started to get impatient.

"Ugh Amanda! Where the heck our are bags?”

“I don’t know, hopefully they didn’t get lost!” She sighed.

“Alright well I’m going to the Starbucks over there. Want anything?”

“Yeah grab me a mocha frap!” she shouted as i walked away. 

I reached the coffee shop & waited in line. I placed my order & yet again waited for the drinks to be done. 

“Mocha Frap!” the barista shouted. I grabbed it & waited for my drink to be done.

“Black Tea Lemonade!” I went to grab it & so did a boy my age.

“Oh sorry! You can have it i’ll wait.” I stated. The boy turned his head to look at me & man was he cute. He was really tall, had brown hair, brown eyes blah blah. Something that really stood out for me was the guitar on his back. I have a HUGE thing for boys into music.

“Hello?” he said zoning me out of my daydream.

“Oh sorry” I blushed.

“Alright well here’s your drink, by the way, I’m Shawn.” he winked.

“Aye, I’m Elise.” I said. 

“Text me sometime, maybe we can grab a bite to eat or something!” He said writing his number on a napkin.

“Sounds good to me.” I said.

“Okay well I have a taxi to catch & I don’t wanna miss it, see you soon, Elise.” he hugged me & with that he was off.

“Elise what the hell!” Amanda shouted as she found me.

“I’m sorry!” I said.

“Ah whatever lets get back to the apartment, I’m tired.” She stated as we walked to the parking gargage.
