Chapter One

Maddie's POV
Ive known Jordan for quite some time now. We met in history class. One day I was just walking in to history class when some guy pushed me. Jordan had always picked on me and in a way, bullied me but this time, as soon as he saw that i got pushed to the ground, he jummped up out of his seat, ran over to me, and helped me. While he was helping me up, he yelled at the guy who knocked me over.

Jordan: Hey! You dont need to be in such a rush! Its only History class!!

He put his hand out and asked if I needed help. I held onto his hand and he heped me up. He bent over and picked up my books.
When we stood up, we looked into eachothers eyes.

Jordan: Hey, I never got your name!

Maddie: Oh! My name is Maddie! Why did you help me?

Jordan: What do you mean?

Maddie: Well you know, youre always picking on me and stuff.

Jordan: Oh so I cant be nice?!

Maddie: Well I didnt say that....,

Jordan: Well maybe I was being nice to you because..., because I like you!...

Then there was compleit silence and I didnt know what to say or do. Im pretty sure I started to blush.

***1 Week Earlier***

Maddie: Hey Gracie!

Gracie: Yeah Maddie!?

Maddie: Wanna play Truth or Dare?

Gracie: Sure! Truth or Dare?

Maddie: Uhhhh dare

Gracie: Do you like anyone in our history class?

***History class is the only class Gracie and I have together***

Maddie: Uhh well you know that guy who always picks on me...yeah well I may like him just a bit...

Gracie: MADDIE! REALLY?

Maddie: Yeah. Is that a bad thing? I mean, who couldnt like him? Hes hot!

Gracie: I mean, he isnt ugly...but that doesnt mean I like him!

***Present Day***

OMG! It was amazing now knowing that Jordan likes me!! Idk how Gracie is gonna react to this all. History class started so jordan
handed me my books and we headed to our seats. We sit at the table closest to the door. It goes, Gracie on the far right end, me in the
middle closest to Gracie, Jordan RIGHT beside me, and his friend Will accros from Gracie.

Mr.Mitch, *See what I did there!? lol* the teacher, put on a REEEEAAALLLY boring history movie about some old guys who did
random and boring things. While the movie was on, Jordan moved closer to me...

Jordan: Wheres your little friend?

Maddie: Oh you mean Gracie!? Shes in the hospial... :(

Jordan: Oh! Whats wrong?

Maddie: She...I dont realy know. She too sick for visiters and I cant call her

Jordan: Oh! Well I hope she gets better soon! I know you prob dont care, but, *He took a peice of paper out of my notebook and used
my pencile, and wrote his number down* heres my number. Call or text when ever you need something. Okay?

Maddie: Okay.
