I was walking home from school and I noticed a movers truck in front of my house. I quickly started skating home, I saw my mom loading boxes into the truck. She told me we were moving to Compton, I quickly ran inside the house and it was empty. We were ready to leave, I wasn't ready for a new school and new friends.

I was unpacking and was getting boxes from the truck, I noticed that a kid was staring at me, he came up to me. He said "Hi My Name Is Steven Fernandez" . Nice to meet you steven my name is Melanie . Steven//so your new around here? Melanie//yeah I just moved here . Steven//you skate?!you got some nice boards👌. Melanie // yeah and thank you .
