Okay, so I'm going to use female pronouns in this one... just a heads up!

Being the only female One Direction member can be TOUGH sometimes, these boys are loud and rowdy when they are all together, and you've been stuck on the tour bus for three days straight in America with them. You are a pretty loud person, but these last couple of days you've been a bit quiet because your last concert was in New York and it's winter. Now yes, London does get cold, but it was windy but not below freezing so you still had to preform, and because you have asthma (if you don't then pretend) the cold just made breathing harder and worse. You had to go to the tour doctor for a nebulizer treatment you could barely breath. When you stopped in Atlanta Georgia for two press days after a day of rest then a concert you had to go see a doctor because your voice was hoarse and you throat was swelling up. It turns out you just had a common cold, but the vocal specialist you saw recommended you go on vocal rest since you are a singer. Your tour doctor gave you two options, no talking for five days and reassess or no singing for five days and reassess, seeing as you had a concert in three days, you chose no talking, which wasn't too hard for you. You still had to appear in interviews with the boys during the press days, you just could not communicate by using your voice, you had a text- to-speech app on you phone but it was too slow. You and Niall found out he usually understood your hand motions, you being the closest with him, and he usually tried to voice what you meant and you would either give him a thumbs up, down or middle to show him is he got it right. if he doesn't get it quickly you either dismiss it or write it out. It was full band press day, which meant that all six of you travelled to the interviews and conducted them together instead of separated. You usually take up the 'mom' role during these and give the appropriate answers and keep everyone in topic before something BAD ends up public. But the worst of the day was going to be the Georgia Late Night Talk Show, because there you have to redirect THE HOST. You wanted to sit in the middle so you had slap range to all of the boys since you cant scold them verbally. After a couple of minutes H/N (Host/name) asks the question you are tired of hearing by now, "Y/N, why on Earth are YOU being so quiet?" You just looked at Louis who was sat to your left, allowing him to explain. "Well H/N, A couple days ago when we preformed in NY it was pretty windy and cold and the costume people had her in a dress, so naturally she got a cold, but her asthma made it worse so she is having an asthmatic respiratory cold and the doctors told her to pick talking or singing and she chose to be able to sing in Atlanta tomorrow night so... yeah!" The audience cheered while you shook your head and took the whiteboard H/N held out to you and began writing with his expos. 'It has been nice being forced to listen for a change. These boys may seem rowdy, but I found it only feels like it when I'm trying to get into the conversation as well.'  The next night you crushed it at the concert, thankfully there was a three day stretch between that night and the next concert so your throat had time to fully get back to normal. That second Atlanta concert you were on fire and giving so much energy that you almost fell down quite a few times.

Regardless... you hope to never have to go on vocal rest again because those boys tryied to get me to talk... like bud... come on!
