Chapter 10- Part 3

Jake's P.O.V

I wait . . . and wait . . . and wait, but Bella and Edward are obviously not going to call me back. I feel anger flaring up within me and, before I control myself and contain the anger, throw my phone across the room. Luckily it lands on the couch in the living room and didn't break due to my own control issues.

"Jake, calm down," I hear Seth say behind me as he places one of his hands on my shoulder from behind. I shurg him off.

"I cannot 'calm down', Seth. What the hell does Renesmee think she's doing!?"

"She thinks she's protecting you," he answers, sounding as if he is speaking to a child.

"Don't talk down to me, Seth," I snap, turning around to face him.

"Jake, calm down," dad says to me as he enters the room on his wheel chair.

I take a deep breath and exhale slowly. "Sorry Seth."

"All goods Jake, just don't let it get to you so much."

"I love her, Seth."

"I know." Is all Seth says before he leaves my house. I understand though; it's his night on patrol.

"What is going on Jake?"

"I'm fine," I say before I leave also.

"Seth wait up! I need a distraction, I'll help you on duty."

"Okay," he answers as I finally catch up to him.

"So are we going to help the Cullens with the volturi when they finally show?" Seth asks.

"Well if you want the truth, no," I answer after a minute.

"No? Why?"

"How can we when they won't tell us anything? Let alone when exactly the Volturi are going to show. So no, we aren't."

"Fair enough," Seth says. We stay deep in the forest, listening out for any threats.

"We better shift, because then can split up but can hear thoughts for trouble," I say to Seth. Seth nods and we both shift. Seth walks in the opposite direction I do.

I do want to help her, a voice in my head is saying how can I stand and do this, not protect her, but another voice is saying how can I when I am being kept out of the loop.

Jake, don't get distracted, I hear Seth's voice say clearly in my head.

I'm not, thinking will not distract me, I answer. I don't hear Seth again.

So sorry that this part is short but it is called 'Renesmee's Story', so is from her p.o.v but many asked for a Jake's p.o.v so here it is. I will update another part tomorrow :)
