Chapter 35"Faerrah. This is Mr. Acrosa." My dad squeezed my little hand and I looked up to see the man in front of me. He looks like as the same age as my dad.
"Hi. I'm Faerrah, you can call me Fayre po." I politely said and Mr. Acrosa smiled at me. Who is he? Where are we? I think we spent nearly two hours on our car drive. Hindi pa namin kasama si mommy because she's sick and she needs to rest.
"Hi, Fayre. How old are you?"
"I'm eleven years old." I smiled a bit. I'm starting to get bored. Tumingin ako sa paligid and the house we were in is huge but not as huge as our house. Our house was big and spacious unlike this house that is huge but there are too many appliances.
"You're the same age as my daughter! Brianna! Come here!" Napatingin ako kay Mr. Acrosa sa bigat ng boses niya nang tawagin ang Brianna na 'yon. A girl as the same height as me came out with her forehead creased and brows furrowed. Her arms are crossed as she walk near us.
Suddenly, the crease on her forehead immediately disappeared when our eyes met. Instead, she smiled sweetly at me.
"Hi! I'm Brianna!" She said and offered her hand. I know what kind of girl she is. Maybe she's forced to be friends with me because of our money. Ganoon naman lagi. Dad noticed that I hardly make friends at school so he would do it on his own way.
Friends are suppose to come naturally, not like this! They are befriending me because of the money! I hate it! Okay lang na hindi ako magkaroon ng kaibigan! Basta hindi lang ako mapaligiran ng mga taong katulad nito. Maybe I'm not fit for anyone to be a friend. Maybe I'll be better on my own.
I looked at Dad with my brows furrowed and he just tilted his head like he was gesturing me to accepr Brianna's handshake. I frowned at him before turning to Brianna. She had the irritated face first but it immediately shifted to a friendly one.
"I'm Fayre." I introduced with a fake smile on my face. I shook her hand, too.
"Brianna. Why don't you introduce Fayre to your other friends? They're here, di'ba?"
"Yes, dad. Ako na ang bahala sa kaniya." Brianna said happily
"Alright. Enjoy, Fayre! Mag-uusap lang kami ng Dad mo." Mr. Acrosa said as he tousled my hair before walking away with my father. Wala na akong nagawa kung hindi sumunod kay Brianna.
We went to their backyard and I saw a group of girls holding their own make-ups and putting it on each other. I frowned when I saw one of the girls with really red cheeks. She's super close to looking like a clown.
"Sino 'yan, Brianna?" The clown asked. Lumapit sa kanila si Brianna at may sinabi. Hindi ko narinig dahil nanatili ako sa pwesto ko na medyo malayo sa kanila
After Brianna said something to them, they all nodded and a smile are plastered on their face. Ang panget nila. Brianna held my hand and pulled me closer to them. Ngayon nakaupo na din ako katabi nila.
"What's your name?" The other girl that looked like betty la fea because of her ugly thick eyebrows and her awful bangs. I'll call her betty.
"Fayre."
"Halika dito! Join us! We are putting make-up at each other. Ikaw ba? Nakapagmake-up ka na?" The only girl that looked normal (pwede na) said
Umiling ako. "I don't need that. I'm fine with my face."
Napansin ko ang pagpalit nila ng tinginan. They all exchanged irritated faces but when they looked at me, they laughed fakely. May ipepeke pa ba 'yung tawa nila? Kung meron pa, I'd want that. Sagarin na sana nila.
