Chapter 40

I left just like what he wants. I even saw Freia outside his penthouse. Her stare was boastful, she even crossed her arms when she saw me crying the moment I stepped out from the penthouse. I equalled her stare.

"Ano? Ngayon, iiyak iyak ka? Akala mo kung sinong matapang." She scoffed at me. Nanatili ang malamig kong tingin sa kaniya. I want to hurt her so bad but I stopped myself. Doing that will not make me feel better.

Magsasalita na sana ako pero bumaba ang tingin ko sa leeg niya. Her necklace. It's my necklace. The autumn leaf necklace that Levi gave me when we were on Maldives.

My blood boiled in an instant. Binalik ko 'yun kay Levi dahil pakiramdam ko hindi ako karapat-dapat para sa kaniya. I know someone will come into Levi's life.. Someone better. I expected that Levi will give that necklace to that someone better.

And now, she's wearing it? Fuck, no. She's far from better. She's the fucking worse.

I walked closer to her. She just proudly looked at me like she already won. Maybe, she won. Wala na akong pakialam. Kukunin ko ang dapat sa akin. Kahit na hindi si Levi. Itong kwintas lang na 'to. This is mine. Levi gave it to me. This will be my remembrance of Levi's love that I wasted.

"What the hell?!" Sigaw niya dahil bigla kong hinila ang kwintas sa leeg niya.

"This is mine." Madiin kong sabi bago siya tinalikuran. Pero bago pa ako makalayo, bigla niya na lang hinatak ang buhok ko. This girl!

"Fayre! The fuck?! Ikaw nanaman?!"

I heard Cali's voice from afar. She quickly went to me and grabbed me away from Freia. Hindi ko pa nahihila 'yung buhok niya! Hinila kasi ako agad ni Cali! Lalapit na sana ako para saktan siya pero nakita kong may pumigil sa kaniya. Si Kaleb. What is he doing here? Kailan pa siya nandito?

"Ilayo mo 'yan sa akin! Baka mapatay ko 'yan!" Cali's voice echoed. Nagpupumilit na kumawala si Freia sa braso ni Kaleb pero masyadong malakas si Kaleb para sa kaniya .

"Take care of her. Ako na ang bahala rito." Kaleb said before aggressively holding Freia with his hands.

"Akin na 'yung kwintas ko! Bwisit kang babae ka! Ano ba! Bitawan mo ako! Punyeta!"

"For the record, this necklace is mine!"

"Oo nga! Sa kaniya 'to! Bruhildang babaeng 'to!" Cali shielded her body in front of me and pointed her index finger at Freia.
