Previously on my sister's boyfriend:

After everything that we went through, he wants to go back to that psychotic person, she literally killed someone and stalked us, kidnapped me and yet he still runs back to her, and yet I was the hoe when I was friends with Mattia, times have changed, I just dont understand people anymore.

I looked at the time, I was already late to pick up the kids, damn, I really took that long. I started to drive to the babysitter's, I got there and picked the kids up, when I was about to drive away Derek texted me.

Derek

-alessya, can we please talk about this

I decided just to leave him on read, I didnt have the energy to deal with that anymore,

NOW-

Derek's POV-

that honestly could have gone better, I think that she was overreacting,  she knew that she was. I dont understand what the problem was, I was stuck, I am confused about my feelings. I drove back to my apartment, I missed the kids, but I think that I should give Alessya her space, and let her think about this.

I didnt know what to do, because I haven't even told Maria, that I still had feelings for her, and Alessya is already mad at me for it. No matter what I do they are going to be mad at me. I want to see Anastaisa and Mateo but I know that she won't let me, her feelings are probably everywhere right now.

I still love Alessya and the kids, I want them to have a father figure in their life, I just dont know what to do. It is just so much to think about, I love Maria and Alessya. It's just so complicated. 

I decided to call Maria, I still had her in my contacts, under a different name. I didnt want Alessya to get the wrong idea about me having Maria in my contacts

Ma- hey

Derek- hey, can you talk right now?

Ma- yea, what's up?

Derek- can you meet me somewhere

Ma- yeah, sure. when?

Derek- 5 is that okay?

Ma- sure, where?

Derek-*some restaurant*

Ma- alright, see you then I guess

I hung up, I couldn't help but think about Alessya. 

*4:53 pm*

I drove the restaurant, I already had the table reserved for Maria and I. I was already there, I ordered water for me, I just sat there patiently waiting for Maria, I was on my phone when I hear the chair across from me scrape against the ground, I quickly turned off my phone and looked up at Maria.

Ma- hey

Derek- hi

Ma- so why did you want to meet?

Derek- I have to tell you something, I know that it might come weird but hear me out

Ma- alright

Derek- well um, I started to fiddle with my pointer fingers, barely maintaining eye contact

Derek- I still love you

Maria looked shocked, there was a brief moment where it was silent. 

Derek- shit, I know its a lot to take in but I just need o get that off my chest

MA- what about Alessya

Derek- I am taking a break from her, plus I dont think that she wants to be with me after I told her that I still love you

Ma- well you shouldn't have told her, you just ruined a perfectly good relationship for no reason

Derek- what do you mean, I shouldn't have told her?

Ma- Derek, I moved on. Also, you literally have a kid with her and you want to throw that away for someone that doesn't want you anymore

Derek- what can I do to change that

Ma- there is nothing you can change about that, I am happy with him

Derek- him?

Ma- you know mattia, right?

Derek- should've guessed

Ma- Derek, dont be like that, we just really hit it off after the wedding

I didnt say anything

Y/n's POV-

I put the kids in the car and started to drive. I stopped at a restaurant to pick up my food and the kids food, I got them out of the car and started to walk into the building, I walked over the counter. I asked for my food, and started to head out when I looked over on my right I saw Avani. I started to walk faster, hoping that she wouldn't notice me but unfortunately, she did.

Av- ALESSYA

I closed my eyes, and slowly turned around, plastering a fake smile

y/n- heyyy

Av- crazy, seeing you here

y/n- just picking up some food, I said raising my food so she could see it

Av- you should sit with me, we have so much to catch up on

y/n- actually I have to get home

Av- please, she said pushing the seat out so I could sit

y/n- I really should get home

Av- just 20 minutes

I held Anastaisa tighter, I took a deep breath and headed towards the seat, she had assigned me just seconds ago. I plastered a fake smile and sat down.

Anastasia sat with me while Mateo was sitting in a highchair.
