"Are you sure you want to go to that trip, Ashley?" Mum asks, clearly worried.

"Yes, Mum! Everyone is going! Now I got to go or they will go without me. Bye Mum!" I said putting my shoes on and I shut the door. I lied, not everyone is going. Half the class wasnt allowed because their parents are overly protective. I'm lucky to have my Mum, she doesnt really mind where i go or how long i stay outside as long as she has contact with me.

I walk in school, struggling with my big bag full of clothes... and sweets. I walk into the trip meeting area and see about 40 people. Not much, but i still get pushed around trying to put my bag away. From the corner of my eye I see Rachel and Alfie siting in the corner of the room.

"Rachel! Alfie!" I scream, running towards them. They stand up and walk over to me. I hugged Rachel and gave Alfie a kiss and we sat down in the corner.

"Oh my God, I have the best idea ever! Okay how about we, like, bun the whole thing and just go run away in the forest!" Rachel whispers, so no teachers hear. She always wants to run away from home. Her Mother died when she was 5, so 10 years ago, and she really hates her Dad. She would take every opportunity to run away or stay out of home. I swear she was on a sleepover at my house about 50 times. She looks at us, waiting for an answer. "Oh, Come on! Who would stop us!?"
"Um, my fridge, my bed and my Mum." We all laughed. "No, but seriously, can you imagine how our parents would worry?"

"My dad wouldnt worry at all! He doesnt care about me so whats the point!?" Rachel says with tears in her eyes

"You might think he doesnt, but i know he does. You are his only child! The only thing that reminds him of your mother. If he looses you, he will go completely mental."

"Okay! Kids, the couches are here. There are two couches and each will contain 10 people. The teachers will guide you to them. Have fun on the trip!" Says the Headmaster.

Next thing I know is I'm being pushed by a teacher into a couch. Luckily, we got the seats at the very back where there are 5 seats in a row. We put our bags on the two spare seats and I sat inbetween Rachel and Alfie.

"Kids! The ride will take about 3 hours so get comfortable! Have a nice ride!" Said Miss Bottch. Me, Rachel and Alfie call her Miss Bitch. Luckily, she never heard us say it. About one hour into the ride I started nodding off and fell asleep on Alfie.

I saw my Mum sitting on the sofa drinking and crying. She was screaming at herself for letting me go to the trip. Next everything went dark and I saw myself, Alfie and Rachel sitting in the rain, clanching onto our stomachs with hunger. We were dirty and wounded. It looked as if we were there for a long time. I look deeply in te foret and see a figure running through the trees far away. That could only mean one thing. Something bad is about to happen.

"Ashley? Ashley! Wake up! What's wrong?" I heard Alfie say

"Wait, what? What happened?" I asked

"You... you were crying... I thought something bad happened.."

"No... Just... just a bad dream..."

I checked my phone for the time, 6:30pm, about 30 minutes left of the ride.

"Miss! Are we there yet?" Said a boy in my class, Adam.

"Nearly, we are just looking for a good place to camp out." Miss Bitch answered.

I looked out of the window, it was getting dark and there were trees surrounding us. It looked creepy, but i like these kind of things. I actually would want to go out in the forest, if I knew the way back to the camp. I watched movies about ther being old masions with a lot of expensive things in them... But there were also a lot of murderers in them.

Finally the couch stopped and we were pushed out into a open space. We were the first ones there so we had to put up the tents. We had to put them up in a circle because the campfire will be in the middle. We put up about 10 before the other couch came and we put up the oher 10 tents with the help of them. We had to get in pairs as to who we will sleep in the tent with. After we were done sorting out the tents, Mr Anderson lit a fire and everyone sat around it as the teachers were doing the register.
