You were heading for the grocery store with a long list of ingredients you were to use later in the day. Your boyfriend had just arrived back from tour and you hadn't seen each other for almost two months. You missed him like crazy but also knew that this was the prize of dating a celebrity. Jungkook was the youngest member of the biggest boyband in the world and his schedule was hectic to say the very least. He finally got a couple of days off before going back to work and he had asked you if the two of you could cook together at his place. He needed to wind down and live a couple of days as a normal guy in his twenties and you loved that idea.
You've always loved cooking and Kookie loved learning new things. When you asked him what he would like, he simply said: "Anything you wanna teach me, babe" with a wink and a smirk.
"Gawd he's a bastard," you thought to yourself, but you loved how he could go from an absolutely adorable bunny to dom mode in a second. You realised that you were now sitting in the car in the parking lot thinking about Kookie's hands around your waist kissing the back of your neck while you were cooking. Something he loved doing and something that drove you crazy in the best way possible. You shook your head and told yourself to snap out of it and get your ass out of the car, so you could buy the groceries.
The shopping cart ended up being filled up with so much food and drinks that you would think all seven of them were coming for dinner, but you just couldn't help yourself. You loved taking care of him.
You finally arrived at his place where you were putting everything away in the kitchen, when you received a text. It was Kookie saying that he would be there in an hour. Just needed to wrap things up with the members and staff before heading over. You decided to quickly make some delicious snacks and grab a quick shower while waiting.
When you heard the door open you were just finishing up in the bathroom. Kookie's voice called out: "Baby, where are you?" You smiled so big your cheeks hurt and immediately ran into the living room to greet him. And there he was. All black outfit from head to toe. The fitted, ripped jeans, oversized shirt, leather jacket, boots and his beloved bucket hat, but most of all the biggest grin on his face when he saw you. You threw your arms around his neck and he lifted you up, kissing you all over your face while laughing. You put your head on his shoulder and hugged him tight while he was still holding you up. You could smell his perfume and realised how much you had missed his scent. The two of you stood there for a while. Just enjoying each other. It was Kookie who finally broke the silence.
"Do you have any idea how much I've missed you, my love?"
His voice cracked a little. You raised your head to look up at him. He was a little teary eyed and you couldn't help but go into a very protective mode. You knew he loved being on tour and meeting ARMY. He loved them so much and wanted to make them happy. But at times he needed to unwind and you were here to make sure he got to do just that. Even if it was just for a little while.
"Well, why don't we sit on the couch for a little bit? I've made some of your favorite snacks. Let's chill before we start cooking, ok?" His eyes lit up at the mention of snacks and you couldn't help but laugh at how cute he was.
After almost two hours of talking, eating and laughing, most of the time with Kookie's head in your lap while running your fingers through his long and fluffy hair, he looked up at you with his beautiful big eyes and said:
"What will we be making for dinner, babe?"
This boy and food!! He definitely had a healthy appetite, but you absolutely loved that.
"You know I'm still learning to cook Korean food, so I figured I should teach you something I actually know how to make. So we'll be making lasagne with some nice garlic bread and a tomato salad on the side."
