I got to school early today and met Jacob. It was time for the next phase of my plan. I told Jacob I lost my phone and he said I could borrow his and give it back to him at lunch. Perfect.
After putting his number in my phone, (has it dawned on you I have my phone) I looked through his contacts. He already had Lily's number. I texted her and the conversation read.
Jacob: HEY GORGEOUS CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU TODAY!
Lily: HOLD ON, WHY DO YOU WANT TO SEE ME!
Jacob: SORRY THAT WAS FOR SOPHIE
Lily: OH
Jacob: IS SHE SINGLE
Lily: NO
Jacob: GREAT
My plan was working. I can't wait to see Lily.
Lily's P.O.V
I got a text from Jacob and my heart skipped a beat. He called me gorgeous...then my heart dropped. He said it was for Sophie. Why Sophie?
She would say no if he asked her out. She's a good friend! Why her? What about me?
He asked if she was single. SINGLE!!! I know what that means. He likes her!
I just have to steer him in the right direction...
