I was supposed to be picked up from Worthington high and taken to the airport to catch a plane that leaves at 9:00. My parents helped me get my bags out of the car and I went to say goodbye to my friends. I also have a boyfriend named Thomas who wasn't happy at all about me leaving. I said goodbye to him and went to my group of friends. "Hey, if you hear anything about a part for supernatural, call me." My friend Zoe said. We were friends because we were both obsessed with supernatural. "Yeah I'll call you to gloat about grabbing that role!" I joked. She glared at me. I hugged all of my friends and teachers because my teachers were awesome. I went to Alisha and Caroline and said, "you better face time me everyday so I know what's going on." We laughed and said our goodbyes. I wanted to cry because I would miss all of this so much, but I had a lot to look forward to. My stuff got all packed into some cars and I got into another car with Jace, Sean, Riele, Ella, and Cooped sat in the front. I waved at everyone as we pulled away until they were out of sight. I stared out the window at the trees and things that I wouldn't be seeing again for a long time. "Hey are you okay?" Jace asked. I realized that I must look really sad. "Yeah I'm so exited!" I wasn't lying. I was super exited to be doing this so I focused on that. "You're going to love the set! We all have so much fun!" Ella said. We all talked and laughed until we got to the airport. We got on the plane and I immediately fell asleep because I was up all night worrying and packing. I was shaken awake by Ella who I was sitting next to. "Emma wake up were almost there!" She was so exited to be back. I opened the window shade and looked down on San Diego. It was huge! It had all sorts of tall buildings that I thought we would crash into as we landed. We got off the plane and it was already way warmer than Vermont. We went into the airport and got out bags and got in our different cars to take us to our houses. I met the host family and they had a daughter named Carrie. She was so sweet and exited to have someone to play with. She was about six and an only child and I think we became like sisters. I unpacked and I had a day before I started shooting, in which I spent that day on a bike exploring. Went to all sorts of beaches and things. But I did get a script and once I did I practiced like crazy. Then the day came. My first day on set.
