I tapped anxiously against the stand. This was the third challenge. The last challenge. Ron was soothing me, rubbing circles on my back.

Moody came to drag me into the grounds.

"Stay safe, Harry," Ron whispered, holding onto my hand carefully.

"When am I not? Don't answer that," I said quickly before heading off with Moody.

Dumbledore was explaining what the task was, a huge maze. Of course it was a huge, creepy maze. Cedric I go get to leave first, followed by Viktor and then Fleur. If we want to get out we send red sparks into the sky. To win all we had to do, was to find the cup and take it.

At the sound of the cannon we had to leave, but naturally, it was fired a little too soon. Moody pointed me in the right direction. Wasn't that cheating?

The hedges didn't seem too strange, there was a heavy fog covering the ground and making it hard to see. It was like the entire place was designed to be haunted.

I kept walking. Just keep walking. I jumped back when a scream echoed around the place. That sounded like Fleur. I took off into the hedges, running to find Fleur. I couldn't let her be hurt.

I ran until I found her lying on the floor. The hedges had vines coming out and taking her. I couldn't let that happen. I took her wand and turned to look up at the sky. "Periculum!"

I put down her wand and went running. The hedges were moving. It was starting. I ran faster, running, running. I jumped back when a spell went spiralling past my head.

"Harry get down!" Cedric sends a spell to Viktor, trying to kill him.

"No Cedric! He's bewitched! He's bewitched! It's not his fault!" I grabbed onto Cedric, pushing him to the side.

Cedric threw me off him and started to run. I had to get to the cup. Something was wrong.

We were running, running and running. We could see the cup. Getting closer and closer until Cedric fell. The vines were snapping at him, pulling him back and trying to take him. I couldn't let him die. He was asking for me to help. I couldn't let him die.

I ran to his side and ripped the vines off him. pulling him away and up.

"Thank you, Harry. For a second I thought it had me," Cedric said, out of breath and gasping heavily.

I gave him a goofy smile when the wind pushed past me. Blowing us away. The hedges came storming towards us. Trying to kill us. "Run!"

We ran faster, and faster. Getting closer and closer to the cup.

"Take it! You save me, take it!" Cedric pushed me closer. I couldn't leave him. I couldn't I just couldn't.

"Together! We take it together!"

"1, 2, 3."

Together we grabbed onto the cup and I felt the world spin around me. The violent pull of moving into a different place through portkey.

We landed harshly on the ground, the cup flying away from us. Where were we?

"It's a portkey. The cup is a portkey," Cedric awed from the side.

This place looked like a graveyard. But there was something about here, something I recognise but something I can't quite put my finger on.

The grave... that was his family grave! "Cedric, get but to the cup. Cedric we need to go! We shouldn't be here, we need to go!" I ran to the cup, dragging Cedric over.

"Kill the spare."

"Avada Kedavra."

I couldn't think as the green flash shot forward and hit Cedric in the chest, sending him spiralling away from me and the cup.
