Chapter 17 (Ruined Reunions)

Was I looking forward to Nico and Leo coming back to camp?

You could probably say that.

"Elise stop pacing" Percy instructed me.

"I can't they're coming back today!" I said excitedly.

Percy looked at me hesitantly.

"Elise just because you saw that in a dream doesn't mean that they are actually coming back" Percy said sympathetically.

I stopped pacing and snapped around to face him.

"Shut up. I don't want any negative thoughts in my head. Got it?" I said poking Percy with my finger.

Percy put his hands up in defeat.

"Okay" he said simply and I continued to pace.

"Oh my gosh I just can't believe they're coming back!" I shrieked.

"Sis you know they mi...." Percy started but then the door flew open.

I stopped pacing and ran straight to Jason who was standing at the door.

"Their back" he said and I sprinted past him up to the infirmary where I saw Nico and Leo walking into the building.

I pushed through some now unhappy campers so that I could walk into the infirmary right behind them.

I slowly followed behind them as they made their way to my old room.

They stopped at the doors and took a deep breath.

"Remember we're just going to say goodbye" Leo said to Nico he nodded and the opened the door to my room together and walked in.

"What the hell?" Nico shouted when they saw I wasn't in the bed.

I then ran up from behind them and tackled them both to the ground in a hug.

"You're back! I missed you guys so much!!!" I sobbed into their backs.

I was soon flipped over onto my back with my arms and legs pinned back.

"Is it actually her?" Leo asked Nico who was holding my arms.

I felt my eyes water as I laughed.

"It's me Leo" I said.

Nico looked at me with tears in his eyes.

"But....you...." he said.

"Shh.. It's okay I'm okay" I said to him.

"It's really her Leo, it's really her" Nico said engulfing me in a hug.

I pressed my head into the crook of his neck and breathed in his familiar vanilla scent.

"I missed this" I whispered.

Nico pulled away and Leo and him helped me up.

"I want to hear about how you woke up but I have to go check on my siblings so I'll be back later" Leo said giving me a kiss on the cheek.

As soon as Leo left Nico grabbed my hand and shadow traveled me to the forest.

I was about to fall to the ground as we landed but Nico caught me.

"Not so fast" Nico said holding me by my waist.

I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you" I said into his chest.

He squeezed me tight and didn't let go.
