Inuyasha and friends have finally destroyed Naraku. Kagome Higurashi after trapping herself in the past then makes a wish on the Shikan no Tama or the Jewel of Four Souls. Her wish to be that, the Jewel would no longer exist. With Kururugi's desire now made a reality, Naraku is dead, she headed home. She returned through the bone-eaters well, to the present timeline.
She returned to the Tendo Dojo. The Tendo's were happy to see her again. But she explained that she was not Kururugi Tendo, but Kururugi Kaname instead. By this point in time, Kururugi Tendo agreed to be engaged to Ranma Saotome. Akane was happy that her sibling finally made up their mind. Kasumi was happy that Kururugi was enchanted by Ranma's personality. Nabiki was happy for her youngest sibling. Videl was happy for her close friend. When shrine maiden Kururugi Kaname made a return to the present timeline, Videl was happy to be reunited with her first instructor in the martial arts. Videl told all about her crush on Gohan. How she blackmailed Gohan into teaching her how to fly. How she fought in the martial arts tournament. How she delayed Majin Buu. And how she proved to everyone else that she was not weak. After celebrating with the Tendo's, Kururugi finally moved on.
Her hair color was blond, but not tomboy short, as it grew out a little. Her eyes were blue. She wears a traditional Miko outfit. Kururugi returned to her family shrine. Sometime later Kururugi left her house and moved to Karakura town. A somewhat happy town. Spirits are heavy in Karakura town. Because of this, it's not really rare for a person to be able to see spirits. Kururugi being a Miko herself has no problem purifying spirits. She uses her sutras to purify spirits and demons. Yes, they exist. She already knows that from her adventures in the feudal era. Her adventures at the end of the Bakumatsu period she does not know personally, but she did study up on it. Ever since Kururugi was a child she could control the elements, energy, and matter. In addition to energy, by concentrating Kururugi can create solid objects and spirit energy. At the age of ten Kururugi tapped Reiatsu or spirit pressure. At the age of five, Kururugi was trained as a ninja. Kururugi owns the school uniform for Furinkan High School. Having heard of Don Kanonji the spirit medium, Kururugi rushes to Karakura town.
Sometime later. Kururugi purchases a house in Karakura town. Kururugi taps divine energy while raising her Spiritual Pressure during training.
