My voice breaks as tears roll down my cheeks. I lean forward into his chest. Why... why now of all times? We just figured out who we are to each other. He leans down into my shoulder.
"I'm so sorry, Akira. But my family needs the money, and.... umm, never mind that. It doesn't really matter."
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean, Eiichi?"
He looks down at me, grabs my chin, and kisses me. A quick one, but a kiss none the less.
"Akira... I love you... never forget that,"
