Sollux stares at a corrupt file on his husktop, trying to fix it, having it been filled with important stuff that he would like to keep to himself. As he's typing away at his husktop, trying to work as his computer dings, an annoying violet Aquarius symbol pops up in the bottom corner, he clicks ignore.

Ding

Ding ding

Di-

"Gog damnit" sollux says clicking off what he was on and opening up his Trollian client. He sighs as he reads over the annoying text.

[CA]: Hey Sol?
[CA]: Sollllll
[CA]: Sol I knoww your there, a lowwblood like you shouldn't have anything else to do.
[CA]: Cod Sol do you hate me this much to be ignoring me.
[CA]: Sol, really, you should be flattered someone of my status would even consider talk to you.
[TA]: Iim bu2y
[CA]: Doing wwhat exactly?
[TA]: 2tuff you wouldnt under2tand

Sollux sighs and clicks of that tab, going back to his previous on, he stares blankly at the next screen for a few minutes before putting his elbows on his desk and resting his head in his palms.

"Why must thiing2 be 2o compliicated" he says in a quiet tone, he had been black flirting with Eridan for as long as he could remember and he still didn't pick up on it. Sollux had just sort of gave up at this point. He couldn't admit his feelings for several reasons, no matter how much he wanted too. There were so many things wrong. For instance,

1: Eridan is practically royalty, second highest on the hemospectum, and he's was a dinky little lowblood. No matter what it would always be that way.

2: There's no way Eridan would want to start a Kismesatude with a troll like him, Eridan was always so stuck up about the hemospectum and the places on it that there was no way he'd except feelings from a mustard blood such as himself.

3: He was scared to get rejected, and always will be.

Sollux shakes his head and pushes his feelings aside, there was no need for this, his computer needed him, especially his precious files. He furiously types away on the keyboard, a clicking echoing throughout his respite block as he buzzed, something similar to purring, except it has more of a z ring to it.

Ding

Ding

It's Eridan again, he sits on his lavishly large bed, purple curtains draped over the sides and frames of it as he leans back in the middle of it, typing away at his phone trying to get ahold of Sollux. He assumed he was caught up with some computer stuff of the sort. He always was.

[CA]: Sol, please answwer
[CA]: Sol llll lll llllll
[CA]: Im so bored, entertain me.
[TA]: For the la2t tiime ED Ii am not one of your play thiing2, bother 2omeone el2e for once.

Eridans face had a disappointed look on it, his phone screen reflecting of his geeky glasses, he clicks his tongue at his response, sighing and narrowing his eyes.

[CA]: Sol that's an order from your higher authority.
[CA]: Just have one convversation with me Sol, wwould that kill you?

Eridans clicking could be heard throughout the room from his phone as he continues to type away, and soon after alot of convincing and begging,

[TA]: Fiine, a2 long a2 your promii2e two not lecture me about your ex2 agaiin. No one want2 two hear about that.
[CA]: Great! Noww you start the convversation.

Sollux roles his eyes, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he thinks for a moment before typing.

[TA]: How are you doiing today ED
[CA]: I'm doing fairly wwell, thank you for asking Sol, howw about you?
[TA]: Ii wa2 doiing good tiill you iinturupted my tiime wiith my computer.
[CA]: Really Sol?
[CA]: I just wwant to havve one glubbing convversation and your being a complete and total asshole about it, wwhy can't see just have a normal convversation Sol? Huh? I don't see an answwer.
[CA]: could you just stop your hate flirting for one Gog damn second so wwe can actually talk?

Sollux stares at his computer screen in disbelief, Eridan went off there, he reads over it and cussed inside his head when reading the last text "Could you just stop your hate flirting" he stares at the line in particular for awhile, gulping, did he know?

[TA]: look iim 2orry ED, but iit2 ju2t the way ii am around you okay. Ii can't help iit. You have two under2tand iit2 ea2iier saiid then done.

Eridan reads over his text, wait, wait one glubbing second, he didn't deny the hate flirting, he starts to get excited but dismisses it, he was jumping to conclusions, that probably wasn't it, maybe he didn't want to dwell on it. Truth me told Eridan recently began to become more desperate to fill his quadrants, he had began to become more needy, more and more, it kept growing as time went, and honestly he didn't care who it was at this point, he just wanted them to be filled.

He furrows his brow "hah, like I wwould get wwith a lowwblood, wwhat am I thinking" he says trying to convince himself that he didn't have feelings for a certain mustard blooded troll he just so happened to be texting. He sighed and shakes his head, clicking his tongue again as he turns off his phone, forgetting to respond to sollux. At the moment he just needed a nice hot shower to get rid of his thoughts, and that's what he did, he headed to the shower, turning on the faucet and undressed himself, looking at his torso in the mirror, his gills on his neck and body had begun to get more defined, with flaming violet edges and insides, damn were they sensitive as well. He steps into the shower and let's the hot water run down his back, washing away his thoughts, along with all his worries as he begins to relax.
