Fighting alone again

Playing without you

When the Karasuno Volleyball Club was closed after the third years, left it broke the Teams hearts. They wanted to keep playing, keep fighting, keep wining! but they couldn't.

After that Kageyama and Hinata decided that they would change schools, they wanted to stay on the court as long as possible and they wouldn't let anyone stop them. They didn't tell each other which schools they would go to, wanted to keep it a surprise and while Kageyama got a place at the well known Powerhouse school Shiratorizawa, Hinata got accepted at the also well known Powerhouse school Aoba Johsai.

Finally the day came, the day they would tell each other which schools they would go to. They got their Volleyball Shirts already so they decided to wear them to show each other which schools they would go to.
Both were wearing the Karasuno jacket over it to make it more surprising.
They counted down from five and oppened the jackets, revealing white shirts with a purple nine and a blue ten. ,,SEIJOH?" ,,SHIRATORIZAWA?" they gasped out at the same time, confused with the choice the other made. When Hinata realized he wouldn't be able to play with Kageyama his face dropped. He had hoped that he also would go to Seijoh but he didn't. As fast as his smile dropped though it also came back. ,,So you did it! Nice Bakageyama" the orange haired boy said, patting the back of the black haired boy playfully. ,,And you will go to Seijoh? Have fun with Kunimi and Kindaichi I guess dumbass" Kageyama answered, also patting the other boys back, being slightly more aggressive.
They talked for a bit more, about the new schools, about how they would stay in touch, about how they would miss playing with each other.

When they parted again Hinata allowed himself to let his smile fade. His eyes looked sad and his enegery was gone. He would be playing volleyball. Without Kageyama. Probably against Kageyama. Wasn't that what he always wanted? He had always wanted to prove himself! But now all he wanted was to keep playing with the angry setter.

He wanted to go back and yell at the taller boy to change schools, to stay with him. He wanted to tell him how much he wanted to keep playing with him. He wanted but he couldn't bring himself to do it. Kageyama was happy. He was happy and that was all that mattered.

When Hinata got home he just got home, hoping he would be able to play with Kageyama some time in the future. He would miss playing with the black haired setter, Hinata thought to himself, crying.
After all, with him he was invincible.

Yes they would be part of new Teams but until they really felt like part of those and maybe even after that they would be fighting alone again.
