The deer - Chapter 1

One night a man walks through the forest stalking his next victim. He shifts between trees. He spots a deer. The deer has a beautiful coat and spots. It looked like something from a cartoon.
The man stalks this deer for a while until....

*BAM*
He hits the deer in the forehead with his knife knocking the deer down. The man then walks over to the deer and watches as it moves taking its final breath.
The man kneels down grabbing and brandishing his knife. He then slowly cuts off the deer's head. Blood flies splattering his shirt. The moonlight shining on the red liquid as it pours out of the lifeless body.
The man takes the head back to an old shed. The man opens the creaky door. He then calmly lays the deer's head on his table. The man flicks on a light. He is seen with blue hair. A frowned mask and rings on each hand. He hold his necklace that has his name engraved on it. "Zarik" it reads.
Zarik then takes spray paint he had in his backpack that was in the corner of the room.

He than began drawing a pentagram. He places black candles in the corners of the red star. After a few moments of preparation the ritual is ready to begin.
Zarik places the deer's head in the middle of the pentagram. He then kneels down stabbing the deer's head this time leaving the knife in. He starts to chant.
"Beings are numberless; I vow to save them. Delusions are inexhaustible; I vow to end them. Dharma gates are boundless; I vow to enter them. The Buddha way is unsurpassed; I vow to realize it."
The shed lights up red. Zarik tilts his head back and continues the chant. The deer's head begins to burn. Ashes start to flutter and fill the room. The light gets brighter as he is chanting louder. Louder...
Louder.
Zarik begins to be afloat.
"I make the deals. YOU are now my follower"
The light stops. Zarik falls to the floor. The deer's head is left in ashes. The knife is sticking out. Zarik grabs his knife he looks around to see nothing happened....
Or so he thought.
