Introduction

Introducing Abigail Marie Gilbert or Abby to her friends and family. Abby is 17 years old and Elena Gilbert's twin sister and Jeremy Gilbert's older sister. Abby has beautiful olive colored skin with long brown curly hair and beautiful brown eyes that sparkle. Abby is beautiful, selfless, outgoing, bubbly and full of light and everyone loved her. The thing is Abby has a secret. She's a witch and no one knows except her mom, dad, Elena, Bonnie, and Bonnie's grams. Being a witch only motivated her and have her confidence in the fact that she could protect her family no matter what. Abby loved school, her family, friends Bonnie and Caroline and her boyfriend Tyler. Abby had what she considered to be  the perfect life until her parents died. When her parents died she lost the sparkle in her eyes and she didn't hardly talk to anyone. She told Tyler that she couldn't be with him anymore and even though he was torn he accepted it because he knew that she was hurt and she felt empty as if nothing mattered anymore. Even though she wanted to get away from here more than she wanted anything she knew that she couldn't. She knew that her mom and dad would have wanted her to stay and take care of her sister and brother and to practice her magic so that she could protect her brother, sister and aunt if she needed to from the supernatural. (Abby knew about the supernatural because she was a witch.) So she has done just that. Since she is the older twin by 10 minutes she knew that she had to be the strong one and be there for Elena and Jeremy. The whole summer she would go to Bonnie's grams house everyday to practice her magic because it was one of the only things keeping her sane.
When the Salvatore brothers come to town she might not know what's coming but she does know one thing: she will do whatever it takes to keep Elena and Jeremy safe.
