It's been one week since we travelled back here in Manila. Umuwi na sila Gail at Pastor Vienz sa state at susunod lang raw si Adriel, hindi ko alam kung hanggang kailan.

Tonight, we're having a family dinner with Jason. Ngayon na namin sasabihin kila Mom and Dad ang tungkol sa relationship naming dalawa. I smiled at Jason when he held my hand under the table and simply smiled at me.

“Mom and Dad, I want you to know that I and Jason are together now,” I said. They gaped for a second and smiled widely. Jason held my hand tighter and that made me fondled the back of his hand to make him calm. Maybe he's nervous about the reaction of my parents.

“Wow! Congratulations!” Dad exclaimed.

“Congratulations, anak and Jason!” Mom also greeted us.

“Th-Thank you po,” Jason replied with a fond smile on his face.

“Congrats, tita Betryle and tito Jason!” Kuya childishly said habang nilalaro ang kamay ni baby C at nagtawanan kaming lahat dahil dun.

Matapos naming kumain ay nilaro namin ni Jason si baby C sa sala habang sila Kuya ay nasa hapag kainan parin at nag-uusap. Tawa ako ng tawa kay Jason because he’s dancing energetically para patawanin si baby C.

“Tito Jason is now your favorite dancer, huh?” I talked to baby C who's giggling now.

“Babe, I’m still her favorite. So, you better stop,” pang-aasar ko kay Jason.

“Come on, baby C, it’s me right? Tell your tita that I'm your favorite,” pangungulit niya kay baby C na dahilan para matawa ako ulit.

“No, you’re not!” I chuckled when I said that.

Nilaro namin si baby C hanggang sa makatulog siya. Inihiga ko siya sa crib at umupo na kami ni Jason sa couch.

Nakahiga ako at nakapatong ang ulo ko sa lap niya while I’m staring at him. He has a narrowed nose like an eagle's convex and a strong jawline. Yumuko siya at natagpuan ang mga mata kong nakatingin sa kanya.

“I will miss you,” he said. Umupo ako at inayos ang buhok ko saka humarap sa kanya.

“Me, too. I'm going to miss you. You’ll be gone for two weeks, that’s quiet long,” sambit ko.

He held my hand and pulled me gently closed to him. We’re leaning our head to each other’s head and resting it there while watching baby C who’s sleeping now.

“I’ll be back before you know it,” he said at mas lalo kong isiniksik ang sarili ko sa braso niya.

Meron kasi silang project sa Cebu at kailangan niya talagang mag-stay doon for two weeks.

“By the way, Sheena invited me to her birthday party tomorrow,” I said. “After kong ihatid ka sa airport ay didiretso na ako sa birthday niya.”

He just nodded and smiled. “Call me when you get there and right after mong makauwi. Okay?” He make sure.

I just nodded and smiled at him. I felt his lips landed on my forehead. I know he's worried about me. I smiled at him to assure him that I'm going to be fine.

Mabuti nga ay minsan nalang ang pagsakit ng ulo ko dahil sa binigay ni Doc na gamot last week. Nakakapag-trabaho na rin ako ng maayos sa opisina dahil magaling na ang sugat ko sa paa.

On the other hand ay tuloy pa rin ang pag-monitor sa akin dahil sabi ni Doc ay hindi raw kami pwedeng makampante. We need to make sure na hindi na babalik ang tumor ko. There are cases daw kasi na bumabalik ang tumor at mas lumala lang pala.
