When I entered the house, I saw Mom and Dad having a sweet and romantic dinner at the garden. When they saw me, I just smiled at them and quickly went upstairs.

Nakakatuwang isipin that after all that we've been through ay maayos at buo pa rin kami ngayon.

I'm here in the bath tub, cooling myself down for a while. For I can't bear a hand to think that Adriel's presence is making me crazy like he can't get off of my mind.

His smile.

His touch.

His smell.

And, his hazel eyes.

I sighed heavily as I deeply closed my eyes and remembered the way he looked at me. The way he held my hand. The way he pulled me closed to him. The way he over reacted when I had a wounded foot. He was deadly worried about me. And, the way he zipped his lips to stop him from talking about our restricted past.

After taking a bath, I dried my hair gamit ang blower at nag-bihis ng silk sleeping-wear dress. I walked to my table and opened my drawer. I saw my journals. One of it was from Adriel...

I fondled all of it and just stare at it. I've wrote all my prayers here. I wonder which prayer has been answered already. It was so many to count. Then I brought it back inside the drawer and went to sleep.

I walked up early, as usual because I need to go to work. Marami akong tinapos na FS and mga papeles na kailangan permahan.

I'm currently staring at my phone waiting for Jason's call or text when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I saw Dad's secretary and that girl. I narrowed my eyes to my surprise. What is she doing in my office? Kiera. The one that I worked with before. The one who always gave me a burdensome treatment to worsen my day. She was the one who gave me countless numbers of work. I don't understand why she was outrageous with me before.

"Kiera, meet Miss Harte, daughter of the owner of CT Corp," I gazed at her and smiled.

"He-Hello po, Mi-Miss Harte," she greeted me with a shaky breath.

"Ma'am, she's your secretary," Dad's secretary stated.

"Wait, hindi po ako nag-request na magkaroon ng secretary," I said. "Well, it was your Dad, Ma'am."

Umalis na ang secretary ni Dad at dalawa nalang kami ang naiwan dito. I took a deep sigh and took my black suit from the back of my swivel chair. I stood up and looked at her.

"Kiera, I have to go. Please finish this," I implied. She nodded and stood near at the side of my table na parang kinakabahan.

I went on her way and I stopped when I reached the doorknob. Then, I looked back at her.

"Don't mind it, Kiera. I don't like indemnity. Let's just work congruously then we'll get along."

I smiled at her and winked. Naglakad na ako papunta sa locker ko at nagpalit ng damit from office attire to casual attire. Ayoko kasi na lumalabas ng napaka-pormal ng suot. I'm wearing a V-neck ruffled wrap dress paired with d'orsay flats. I pulled down my hair and nagretouch saglit.

Matapos ay pumunta na ako sa condo unit ni Adriel. I parked my car and went inside the elevator. I looked at my watch and it's five o'clock in the afternoon. Akala ko half-day lang ako ngayon pero marami palang kailangang gawin.

Nag-door bell na ako nang paulit-ulit but it seems like no one's inside. Paalis na sana ako nang marinig ko ang tahol ni Shacklu. Soundproof siya pero narinig ko pa rin ang tahol niya. It can't be.
