Past,
He's fucked.
Turns out, Robert wasn't only meeting Elle's sister and husband and their hectic twins but he was also meeting her mother; the one who had gave birth to the wonderful woman who's making her way in his heart.
(And also one of her two insanely tall and well-built brothers)
He had urged to cover his crotch when he saw one of them but he had to stay cool. He didn't stay long (Thank you god, he thought) but they talked a little and he introduced himself as Louis and he was actually quite nice then what he expected.
'I can't believe your mother is here.'
Robert whispered as he nervously took off his jacket. 'Well I did said family.' She teased, 'Come on, you've nailed Louis. He likes you. I'm sure the rest will also like you too.'
Against one wall, there was a shelving unit that held four cubbies, each with a brightly painted wooden letter above it. The C and S cubbies both had a rain coat hung on one side with a small book bag on the other, rain boots, sneakers and what looked like miniature versions of the football shoes Robert always had. The next cubby, J under was empty but the one under the D had a a yellow raincoat and red rain boots.
On the opposite wall, there was a shelf with hooks that hung underneath. Two hooks held adult sized jackets. Under the shelf was a bench with a couple of adult sized sport shoes while under the bench were cleats and golf shoes. She took his coat from him and hung it on a free hook, doing the same with her scarf and coat as well. He slipped his shoes off and put them next to her shoes before they walked back in to the rest of the house.
'Halo, wir sind hier (Hello, we are here)'
Wir? Was meint sie damit wir? (We? What does she mean by we?)
A man voice interrupted and the sound of footsteps followed. 'Ellie, schwester? I'm in the kitchen. I don't know we have guest?' Another voice came from the first room in the right and he watched she peeped around.
'Boo!'
She giggled and Robert literally saw an orange flew out hitting the white wall across room. 'An orange just flew pass me.' He muttered and she laughed, 'You lucky it was an orange. One time, she threw steel ladle at me, I had a concussion.' She giggled.
'Who are you talking to? Are you going to keep our guest in the dark or are you going to introduce this fella to us?' Another voice interrupted; this one sounded older which he took a guess as her mother. He picked the orange that rolled to his feet.
'Promise me you won't scream or anything, okay?' She said, grabbing his wrist readily to pull him into the kitchen as for now he was hiding behind the wall.
'Okay, okay, lassen, who is-'
'Oh my god, Danielle there's Robert Lewandowski in our hallway!'
They two turned across the hall to see a man with his mouth wide opened pointing at Robert with the most shocking expression ever. Robert felt like that one of the person in the tv where the host had dropped a bomb about you winning a million euro.
Mostly, he felt uncomfortable.
The sister--who he guessed as Danielle and the mother popped out of the kitchen immediately followed by loud thumping against the wood upstairs which belong to two pair of feet who were running down the stair.
'Mama, it's Lewy!' The one with mopped hairstyle screamed and the other one who had the gelled up hair and a pair of glasses was staring at him in disbelieve.
