I was sat at my desk, scrolling through Instagram on my phone as usual, when I heard a soft tapping on my bedroom door, and a voice speak, "Issabella, it's me, Harvey, can I come in,"
I smiled at his voice, and responded with, "sure," and I then watched the door open and the brunette boy walked in.
"my mum told me to ask you what you wanted for tea. We're having lasagne but if you want something else it's fine,"
"no, lasagne's fine," i replied, "i love lasagne," i said truthfully.
"ok, you sure," he said and I nodded my head. He nodded back and smiled, and began backing out of the bedroom, before stopping and walking back in, closing the door.
"so, why are you here," he said, looking at me, and sitting down opposite me on the sofa. I looked at the brunette boy infront of me, and part of me wanted to tell him, because it's not like he was gonna get social workers involved when his mums already my social worker, and i tried to tell him, but i couldn't get the words out..."it's fine, if you don't want to tell me you don't have to," he said, smiling at me.
"so, Issabella hey," and I cringed at being called Issabella, "would you rather me call you something else. I see the faces you pull when I call you that. What do people normally call you,"
"Issy," i replied, and he nodded, "but too be honest I prefer Bella. It's just my parents don't like calling me that."
"well, Bella," he said, smiling, and i smiled at how caring he was, "after tea, me, Max, and Tilly always take the dogs for a walk. Wanna come today after tea,"
"sure," i smiled. I couldn't believe how much he actually wanted to involve me.
"cool," he said, standing up and walking towards the door, "ill go tell my mum your okay with lasagne. You can come down if you want. See you later Bella,"
"Bye Harvs," and we both smiled...
"i see what you did there," but he didn't seem to mind, as he closed the door. He was honestly just so sweet...
I went back to my phone, and about 2 hours later, I heard Harveys familiar voice again, "Bella, teas ready," he said, and i could tell he was stood outside my bedroom door. I opened it and smiled, "hey Bella, you okay," and I nodded my head yes.
"ooooo, Bella," Max said, walking up the stairs.
"that's what she prefers to be called. she told me," Harvey replied to his brother..
"aww, have you guys been having little talking sessions, how sweet,"
"oh shut up Max,"he said, rolling his eyes," what you doing anyway, teas downstairs, "
" I'm going to the toilet, " Max replied, and Harvey nodded as me and him made our way down the stairs into the kitchen where Sara was dishing out the lasagne. I saw Leo sat at the table, already eating from his own plate of lasagne, and an adorable young girl about the age of 5 next to him.
"hi Tills," Harvey said, sitting opposite her, and then he looked at me and tapped the seat next to him, in order for me to sit down, so I sat next to him and he smiled.
"here you go, Harvey and Issabella," said Sara, handing us both our plates of lasagne, and a knife and fork each, and i thanked her.
"no," Max said, half way down the stairs, "not Issabella mum, it's Bella," he said, with a massive grin on his face, looking straight at Harvey, as if in order to wind him up, and Harvey rolled his eyes, before looking down at his feet and smiling, which caused me to smile. His smile was just so contagious........
