1-The Move

I couldnt believe they were making me go. They were making me leave my home and everything i know. I didnt want to move all the way across the world to Sydney Australia. I wanted to stay in kansas with my friends and at my school. See my name is Haley Winters and I live in the United States I live in a little city in kansas called Wichita. Alot of people dont know about this town cause its so small.

But I knew what it was it was my home my home I did not want to leave. But me only being 17 I really didnt have no say in the matter. But the point was I really didnt want to go. I didnt really LOVE kansas all that much more like the people in it. The only reason I dont really like kansas is because of the weather. You would think because my last name is winters I would love the winter right? Well wrong I absolutely HATE the winter. Wich was the one problem with kansas was the weather i mean it does get hot here during the summer but during the winter its freezing and i hate it. That was probably the only thing i was looking forward to in Australia because Australia its always hot there it never gets cold wich I will definitely enjoy.

So I was currently at my house getting ready to head to the airport and saying my last goodbyes to my friends.

Bye we'll miss you so much Jayden said trying not to cry.

I'll miss you to jayden I said giving her a hug.

We'll Skype all the time and text all the time im going to miss you Haley baley ( my nickname my friends gave me) so very much Shyanne said tears streaming down her face and be sure to tell me if theirs any cute guys in Australia.

Of course we will you'll be the first person I text when the plane lands I promise shyshy ( Shyanne' s nickname) and ill give you updates on cute guys. Out of all my friends Shyannes the clostest and I talk to her about pretty much everything in my life no matter what. As tears were running down my face by now I gave her a quick hug and kissing her tear staind cheeks.

Bye Haley baley ill miss you Isaiah said giving me a hug.

I'll miss you to Isaiah take care of shyanne for me I said hugging him back.

I can't believe your leaving I'll miss you so very much Esmeralda said hugging me.

I cant believe it either ill miss you so much Esmeralda i said

We all huddled together into a big group hug most of us crying by now.

Im going to miss you guys so very much I will never forgett about you guys I will call and text and Skype you guys as much as I can I love you guys.

There was a series of I love you's throught our group hug.

Honey time to go my mom called down the stairs.

Ok be down in a sec I shouted out the door

We all walked down together and stood by the cars trunk Isaiah put my bags in the trunk and turned around.

So this is it the last time we'll see you in a while Isaiah said

I'll visit soon my mom works at the airport I fly for free it wont be that hard ( my mom works at the airport at the ticket counter and by the gates) I pinkie promise sticking my pinkie out and putting it in the middle of our circle. We all put our pinkies in the middle and pinkie promised each other. We did a pinkie promise like this on the first week of high school when we all met each other and pinkie promised each other we would be friends forever.

Honey we have to go were going to miss our flight my mom said with her head sticking out the car window.

And with that I got into the car stuck my head out the window and said my last goodbye to my friends as I wave to them as the car drives away making my friends look smaller and smaller by the second and eventually gone.

I hadn't talked the the whole way to the airport and I wasnt planing on talking any time soon im just so pissed of my mom and dad would move me across th world with out consulting me. So im not talking the whole flight to them. Maybe to my brother and thats it but besides him no.

Sweetie I know your made at us but you'll see once we get to Australia and you get settled in you'll love it I promise.

I wanted ro say I seriously doubt it so bad but I just kept it to myself.

We got to the airport we went through security and checked our bags in and everything. And we got on the plane and then the pilot started to speek and tells us to put our seat belts on. And then the flite attendant does her little explanation of the air bags and blah blah blah and finally we take off and not lang after that the pilot told us we could take our seat belt off and us our electronics. And thats when I took my phone out with me head phones. And blasted mayday parade and I drifted off to sleep thinking about what the weather would be like in Australia.
