Chapter 31

(A/N: Hi everyone, gosh I am excited, it's time for the Special Chapter I told you all about last week! I can now reveal that this chapter is in Alice's point of view, I've never done a point of view in anyone other than Stefan and Addison so I hope this goes well and you guys like it, let me know what you think of it! I'm not gonna lie, I am a little nervous for how you guys will like it, but I hope I receive positive reviews, but feel free to let me know if you don't like it as I am considering doing a point of view chapter for a couple other characters, although I haven't quite got that far yet. Anyway, I shall let you guys read it and either love it, or hate it :/.. please please please please give me some feedback on this chapter because it's like I said, it's the first time I've done something like this, like, ever, not even in my other stories (I don't think so anyway) so this really is a touch wood it goes well kind of chapter! Alice's POV

I decide to get up for the day after a somewhat restless night, I just woke up a couple of times and didn't feel too good. I go to the kitchen and get myself a hot chocolate, perhaps I need some sugar in me or something, I don't know. I sit down and watch some TV while I let Jake sleep, he's been working a lot recently, hasn't had much of a break, bless him, so I want to let him rest as much as he needs to.

After probably an hour, I hear the alarm sound in our room, and then goes quiet, indicating to me that Jake is awake and soon will be getting ready for work.

"Babe?" He calls as a he appears into the living room, half asleep, scratching the back of his bed hair and looking confused.

"Morning" I answer.

"You're up early" He points out as he goes and makes himself a hot drink.

"I had a weird night, I was a bit restless" I say as I watch him making his drink.

"Everything ok?" He questions.

"I think so, I just gave up with trying to sleep" I assure him. He finishes making his drink and comes to join me on the sofa, pecking my lips as he does.

"How is the baby doing?" He asks as he puts his hand on my tummy that doesn't show that I'm pregnant yet. Although I have gained some weight, not a lot, but it's some.

"I think baby is fine" I answer with a smile, trying to give him some assurance.

Time passes by, Jake has a shower and a small bite to eat, he's not much of a breakfast person, sometimes he'll have breakfast, sometimes he'll just have a couple of biscuits or something, but he does love his morning drink. I do like breakfast, and I'm lucky that I work from home because I even have the time to make myself a good breakfast and not just a little snack type breakfast, to me, breakfast IS the most important meal of the day, even if Jake isn't all for it all the time, but that's his choice, we respect each others choices.

Anyway, Jake gets ready in his casual clothes, he doesn't bring his uniform home, he changes at work, but he does tend to pop back during his shift if he gets a chance, and I do feel proud when I see him in his uniform, my police officer, doing what he can to prevent crime and protect the community.

"I'll try and pop in later, see how you are if you're not feeling well, just as well that I'm on a half day, a rarity" He chuckles.

"I'm sure I'll be fine, it's probably just the pregnancy, you know, morning sickness and stuff" I assure him.

"Still, I'll try and pop in" He tells me as he pecks my lips a couple of times.

"Have a good shift babe" I smile.
