Chapter 2- The Telling

Today is the day that Hazel has decided to tell her parents about the baby. "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yes they'll find out sooner or later."

"Ok if you're sure."

"I'll go get them."

In those few moments she was gone, I realized something. I loved hazel. I decided then that I would be there for her and this baby. Even if the father was not in the picture. I began to wonder who the father was.

As I was thinking to myself Hazel came back with her mom and dad. They had worried looks on there faces. Hazel's dad spoke first. "Isaac what's going on?!" Then her mom

"Yes, is something wrong?"

Then me, "No Mrs. Lancaster everything's fine for now."

Hazel then started to explain, "Mom, dad, I'm sorry. B-b-but im.......pregnant."

Her parents didn't have a look of anger but a look of sadness. "Hazel what where you thinking?" asked her dad. Her mom then asked "When did this happen and you know you can not bare a child you're to sick."

Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster I can assure you that this child will not not be fatherless whoever the father is. I will be here for Hazel, the baby, and you guys."

"Thank you Isaac. You are a wonderful young man and I'm sure your parents would be proud." exclaimed Mrs. Lancaster

"Yes Isaac it's a shame they......."

I cut him off then. "I'm sorry sir but I don't want to talk about them right now."

"Oh, yes of course."

"Thank you sir."
