"Good job" Captain Kane said,in return I gave him a polite nod.
"I got praises from the CIA on your performance, they are looking forward to working with you again".
" They weren't that bad either" I remarked this wasn't the first time I had worked with them but it was definitely the first time I had lead the assignment and I was impressed with their skills though they could do better.
"Agent 4170" Captain Kane called dragging me out of my thoughts.
"Its time for your mission's status report" this was the worst part to me,it was just a boring routine I'll rather be home reading or watching a movie, I missed home it was the only place where I could be me and not just an agent just me.
"Agent ......" That's when I realized the captain was still here and I was day dreaming,I mentally slapped myself, get a grip I had to focus on what I was doing right now.
"Sorry sir I was just recalling something" yah right my subconscious mind remarked.
"You know what to do" Captain said,I nodded.
"Report to my office before you leave" Captain Kane remarked as soon as he left I relaxed, I know what your thing that agents aren't supposed to be so laid back I'm different I have and always will,I smiled to myself.
When I got to the captain's office he briefed me once more on the paperwork and research I have to complete before my next mission. I was already leaving when I decided to ask about my next mission.
"What does the mission require?" I asked.
"Well, honestly you were chosen mostly because of your age but I know you can handle it" I almost snorted at the mention of my age I was one of the youngest senior agents and the others just regarded me as a child.
"When should I resume" I asked I knew I was asking too many questions but I didn't want to be stuck at my desk all week though that has almost never happened.
"I'm not sure but you will be briefed Thursday" at that I just nodded.
"Thanks Kane" I smiled.
"Anytime dear" and for the first time today he smiled at me.
"Good night sir" and I exited the room.
Now it was time for my favourite place in the world home.
Okay how was that? I don't write much but I read a lot but right now I'm just bored:( but its okay.
