Hermoine's POV

It's been about a month since the death of Voldemort and many of our friends and their families. I've just recently found out that Percy joined the fight during the war and died saving Fred from a fallen wall while fighting off one of the death eaters, Fred's at St. Mungo's Hospital still breathing but not yet opened his eyes. The Weasley's basically took Harry and I in since we had no where else to go while going on shifts to visit Fred, George chose not to leave his side. So he left the store in the hands of Lee Jordan (their best friend) to clean up when George wasn't being forced to go home to rest. Some of the nurses said he wouldn't make it seeing as his injuries were bad... yes I said "were", he had gotten better from what I hear but he still has a few bruises here and there but now we're just waiting for him to wake up...

Today is Saturday, Ginny and I are supposed to go on our first visit in 2weeks to see Fred. It's been hard seeing him lay there on that bed not moving, not talking, nothing but the sound of the machine taking the pulse of his heart... I know if I felt this way, then George is feeling 10 times as worse! Ginny told me she couldn't bare the thought of losing another brother, it was scary enough for her to not know where Ron, Harry or I were last year. Since my last visit, I've been talking with someone. Apparently in the hospital there were a few anonymous donations that only will help the injured from the war, a lot of people donated but the one that's funding Fred has always left letters and flowers!

The rule was that if contacted we have to not say our names due to any issues between both families concerning blood or status in the wizarding world! All we know is the injured patient and family medical history if needed. Other information or communication was optional between the two families if not more.

Once Ginny and I got to the hospital room we were greeted by Mrs and Mr Weasley and George who was in deep thought. We gave George new fresh clothes and dinner with coffee and swapped places with Ginny's parents so they could go home and head to bed before helping the other wizards fix up Hogwarts and Hogsmeade in the morning. Before taking my spot across Fred's bed in the corner to relax and read a little, George hands me an all to familiar letter with a white and yellow Daffodils attached to it with a little smirk on his face.

"Hermoine, is that another letter from that family?" Asked Ginny before taking her seat on the right side of Fred and taking his hand with a small frown glued to her face.

"Yeah, it is. But I think it's from their son again." Answered George before walking toward the bathroom door to wash up and change.

Ginny quickly looked between George and I saying "How do you know it's from ... what's his code name again...? Smoke something, right?"

"It's actually 'Smok Prince', but yes." I say by opening the letter. And give a questioning look at George before reading it. "Wait, how'd you know it's from him?"

"Hermoine, who else would 'writes and smiles' when we receive different flowers with those letters from that family? Most of the letters that come to this room, and from what I hear, to the burrow is addressed to 'Fluffy Ravendor'? Also, in the letter address to the family, they said their son gets secretive and a smidge happy when getting 'our letters'! " George say before entering the bathroom.

"You received how many letters in the past month and a half and all you know from this guy is what...? He went to Hogwarts, he had a weird relationship with the 'Golden Trio', he's family played a part in the war but won't say a lot about it, and has a series of daddy issues..." Ginny replies looking at Hermoine.

"Don't forget that he enjoys Quidditch, and stop making a big deal out of it... this is only the 16th letter I've received from him. We're beginning to become friends, even if we're not able to physically meet until Fred is better. I still think of us as close like I've known him for years... which is a little weird." Says Hermoine looking up from the letter.
