Luke's P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring. I groan as I hit the snooze button. I check my phone and see a text from my beautiful girlfriend, Ashley.
Ashley: Hey babe can't wait to see you today!
I smile to myself and immediately reply, forgetting about the first day of eleventh grade.
Lukey: Good morning gorgeous! I can't wait to see your pretty face today at school!
After texting Ashley I drag myself out of bed and begin getting ready. I chose a black long sleeve shirt and black skinny jeans. My hair is being difficult so I grab a red SnapBack and situate it on my head. I check the time and rush out the door, not wanting to be late for the first day of school.
~Time Skip~
I push through the crowded hallway and find my locker. I put my combination in, dump my books in my locker, and head to home room. I walk through the door and look around the room. I spot my friends sitting in a corner of the room goofing off.
"Hey guys. What's up?" I ask as I sit into the desk next to my best friend Malia.
"Hey Luke! I was just catching up with Michael." Malia responds.
I chuckle and say,"So Michael, red hair now? You are turning into Clifford The Big Red Dog!"
"Shut up Lucas, and yes, red is the new
color." Michael mutters.
The bell rings, indicating class has started. I look to the front of the room and see a man in his thirties writing on the chalk board. The man writes his name on the board, Mr.Reid. Mr.Reid goes on and on about the rules of his classroom, boring me to the point where I fall asleep. It's gonna be a long year.
