Chapter 1

Monday:

Emily's pov:

My names Emily. Emily White. I have long brown hair and big brown eyes. I can't really say a lot about myself because I'm not really interesting. I don't really have a style or a hobby, I guess I just like everything. Today I'm going to be starting school in Bradford after living in New York for my whole life. I'm actually scared for today. I'm not really scared but starting a new school is hard. I didn't want to move I was doing perfectly fine in my old school. I guess its better though, my dad has a better job now and we have a nicer house in a way prettier area.

I made my way to the front of the school and I walked inside the huge building. This school was way bigger than my old one and so much different. I actually liked it better, not sure about the people just yet but the building structure is nice. I followed my schedule to my class. I found my first period classroom which was English and walked in. The classroom was not full at all so I walked into the back and in a minute or two more people kept coming in. One friendly looking girl sat next to me. She smiled genuinely at me, "are you new here?" she asked me. "yeah, I'm Emily" I smiled back at her. "its very nice to meet you Emily, I'm Sarah! If you need anything you know who to come to, I'm telling you this flat out because I know what its like being new, not very fun without people you know. Well now you have a new best friend!'' I smiled, she seems nice.

The day is going slow so far but thank god its lunch. I walked over to Sarah and met her friends. They were nice and I talked with them too. Everyone in this school was so nice. We were all talking and eating when this boy walks over. He was skinny, like, really skinny. He was wearing black skinny jeans with cuts at the knees and a black tee shirt and i'm going to be completely honest he was mad hot. He walked over to Sarah and kissed her lips and scooted next to her sitting down. He was sitting across from me now and all I could do was stare at him. I guess he noticed me staring at him and he chuckled. "Hello beautiful" he said. My mouth dropped and I was practically drooling at this point, his accent. I have no idea why but boys with British accents make me cry, in a good way. "oh, um hi" I smiled blushing. "Zayn, this is Emily, Emily this is Zayn.'' Sarah said introducing us. It was only a fee minutes when he had to leave "well it was nice meeting you Emily, I should get back to my friends. Bye everyone!" and with that he ran off.

Zayn's pov:

I walked over to Sarah's table to say hi. I sat next to her and across from a girl. I haven't ever seen her, I guess shes new, but wow shes beautiful. I chuckled because she was staring at me. "hello beautiful" I said, and no I was not hitting on her I say that to everyone. But I meant it this time. ''oh, um hi'' she didn't really speak clearly and she blushed, she's shy I guess. Sarah introduced us, her name is Emily. I looked over at my friends and the were watching me, "well it was nice meeting you Emily, I should get back to my friends. Bye everyone!'' I left and walked back to my friends.

Emilys pov:

"So, Sarah is that your boyfrieennnd!!" I said emphasizing the word 'boyfriend'. "yeah, isn't he great'' I smiled. But not a real smile, it kinds hurt she was dating him, he was so perfect. But whatever it doesn't even matter, I just came to this school and I didn't even expect to make one friend, I cant expect to get a boyfriend just yet.

When lunch was over I hurried to my next class. I sat in the back again, like always. Zayn walked in the door and spotted me taking the desk next to mine. Ughhhhhhhhh why now its going to be so hard to concentrate. He sits in the seat and I look over at him. He has the same smile plastered on his face just as before. He takes his phone out and hands it to me "put your number in, maybe we can hang sometime." I hesitated at first knowing he has Sarah, she won't get mad. It's just a friendly gesture. I took his phone and put my name and number in.
